It's a great 80s movie about a good student who just wants to have fun! Love the music, love the dancing, loved the 80s!

The year is 2095 and the ancient Egyptian gods have returned to Earth to cast judgment on the falcon-headed god Horus in this epic fantasy from comic-book creator Enki Bilal. Given only one week by the gods to preserve his immortality, Horus must search New York City and find both a human host whose body he will inhabit and a willing mate to continue his legacy. As the enormous pyramid of the gods looms ominously over Manhattan, a beautiful and mysterious young woman named Jill wanders the streets in search of her true identity. With striking blue hair to match the azure tears that stream down her cheeks, Jill is joined in her search by a doctor determined to help her unlock her true power. In the Immortal world, reality is limited only by imagination, and the futuristic city is inhabited by creatures never conceived in even your wildest dreams.

Don't even waste your $5. I thought it looked interesting and I was fooled. Not even worth renting.

The previews of the movie led me astray. I thought it would be really exciting and have a little action in it. Basically the world's ending and food and water are hard to find. Father and son journey across the country and head south. Along the way they're hunted by other people, who turned into cannibals. Sounds good, right? The movie is kind of mushy. It shows how strong the bond is between father and son, and how protective they are of eachother. It's not a bad movie, but I would rent, not buy.

Loved this movie. At the beginning it was hard for me to get into it because it was documentary style, but the action quickly caught my attention and I was glued to my tv. Loved the movie. Loved the message it sent out.

This movie had my attention the whole entire time. The ending was the worse part because it just makes you say...OMG so close! Loved it, Definite must see.

The actual stepping was great. When sorors and frats get together it's always a great time! The acting and movie overall was just okay.

When a beautiful yet snotty teen finds herself in the body of a hairy, unattractive man, she must find a way back to her old self. Such is the premise for Touchstone Pictures' The Hot Chick, starring Rob Schneider. Although the movie received mixed reviews, the DVD is worth a look. To start, the film is presented beautifully in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, complete with bright colors and rich black tones. The 5.1 Dolby Digital track is adequate, yet not superb. Sounds fall a bit flat and dialog competes with a loud soundtrack. The scene-specific audio commentary by director Tom Brady, of The Animal fame, proves to be entertaining, yet rather pedestrian and not very educational. "The Hot Chick Yearbook" contains many behind-the-scene featurettes. First off is "Becoming Jessica," a look at how Schneider became a beautiful teen girl, on the inside. Then there's the antithesis: "Becoming Clive," how a hot girl became a balding guy. "The Hot Chicks" looks at the mentality behind the creation of the film's bratty-girl clique. Stuntwork is examined in "Physical Education." Fifteen deleted scenes, including an alternate ending, are mildly worthy of view time. A gag reel would have been more enjoyable.

what does it mean when a movie is backorder?

i want to buy movie disorderlies but it back order how does that work?
Backorder means that the movie was either in high demand and the bestbuy warehouse ran out, or that the movie isn't requested often enough for them to keep it in stock. To sum it up, bestbuy has to order it from the original manufacturer. You can still order it buy the delivery might take longer than usual. Bestbuy will inform you through email whether or not they can get the dvd, and if it's on the way. If they can't get it for you, you won't be charged for the DVD.
