What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is a great movie. Well written, well acted. Robin Williams (r.i.p.) delivers a performance that shines amongst a group of great performances.
I bought this movie after reading the synopsis on the back. It seemed like an interesting premise- and it was on sale- so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't like to give spoilers, and there are others who will do so and further dissect it, so I'll just say that, in my opinion, this movie had potential but fell way short. I would generously give Sx_Tape 1.5 stars, but I'm not generous enough to round up, so it gets only 1 in this review.
As an Ace Frehley fan, I was very excited to get my hands on this album- and just had to rush to get it on release day (8/19/14). The release date was delayed a few times, but for me, it was definitely worth the wait. Ace proves he is the one, true Space Man. Without giving anything away, I'll say that I think this album is at least as good as his previous release, Anomaly, and I feel that both albums hold up to his '78 solo album. Ace/Kiss fans will enjoy this. For those not familiar with his or Kiss' music (outside of the overplayed Rock & Roll All Nite), who'd like a modern, classic rock sound (kind of an oxymoron, I know), give it a listen..
