One of the best stories and world's on Switch

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of my favorite games. I was actually a little leery about the game before it came out, and didn't buy it right away. After hearing some glowing reviews, I decided I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I have been absolutely absorbed into this game. The world, the characters, the story, the combat, everything is just so fun and compelling, I just don't want to stop. I would recommend this game to anyone.
There are just two comments I would make though. If you have seen anime and know you hate it, I would suggest not getting this game. It's art style is pretty anime and the story has some anime tropes.
Also, if you are looking at buying this game for a young child, there is swearing in some cutscenes

Great shooting mechanics, a bit repetitive

Destiny 2 has some amazing graphics and shooting mechanics. And the PC port is one of the best ports I've ever played. The main story is fun, if a bit nonsensical (especially if you haven't played the first game). It has a lot of flash, but after beating the main story, there isn't much else to do with a lot of substance. There are a number of missions such as Strikes, Nightfalls, and the Raid (which I haven't done), but the incentive to do these things isn't really there, outside of loot. I like Destiny, and it is a worthwhile buy, but it grew old faster than I thought it would. There just isn't enough enemy or quest variety to make it a truly great game.

There is one single word that best describes Super Mario Odyssey, fun. The game is just pure enjoyment. I was happy every moment of this game, and the ending especially put a giant smile on my face. Every kingdom is a giant, unique playground for you to enjoy. And there are so so many hidden secrets. This game alone makes owning a Nintendo Switch worthwhile. When you factor in other fantastic exclusives like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and ARMS, there are a lot of reasons to buy a Nintendo Switch.

Dragonball xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo switch isn't the most beautiful game you'll ever play, or the best story, or the best fighting, yet it manages to pull everything together to be an addictive and fun experience. I've always loved Dragonball Z and always wanted to act out being a Saiyan. Xenoverse 2 let's you do exactly that. You feel truly powerful when you play the game, and there are so so many Easter eggs for long times fans of the anime.
Even without knowing much about Dragonball z, I think someone can enjoy the experience. Especially for the price, you get a ton of content. A nice main story, many co op side quests, and if you buy within the first month, you can download the entire story for xenoverse 1. And all in a $50 package.
To summarize, I really enjoy Dragonball xenoverse 2. It is great fighting alongside old heroes (and villains) and growing more and more powerful as you fight.

Best multiplayer experience on the switch

I love Splatoon 2. It has fantastic and deep online multiplayer, one of the best co op horde modes in salmon run, and a really great third person platformer esque single player campaign. It does have some flaws, namely it's online party system. It can be difficult to set up playing with a friend. But outside of that, I love everything about Splatoon 2. The online multiplayer with a crazy amount of guns and gear to keep things fresh will keep you busy for countless hours.
Also, stick with the motion controls. It can be tough getting used to at first. But give it about an hour of single player and you'll never want to use twin sticks again
