So far this unit plays DVDs and Blu-Rays perfectly. The network streaming apps are fully featured. The unit works well with the Samsung TV it is connected to via HDMI. The controls are on the top of the player. This isn't an issue as long as I don't lose the remote, which has all the right buttons on it.

This unit makes movie watching more enjoyable since flat panels usually have mediocre speakers built in. Easy to use and set up. Remote is a bit more than basic but has all the featured I need.
In hind sight I should have purchased the network version of the same model to have web functionality and remote control via phone/tablet.

We really like the connectivity and features of this TV. The picture quality is much much better than I expected after reading previous reviews. Plenty of inputs, great remote, beautiful picture, stylish look.
This replaced a 60 inch DLP. We use it for DirecTV, Smart TV apps, DVD/BRD, XBOX, WiiU, direct connect USB.
Also purchased the camera for Skype calls and motion control which works well as long as the room isn't too dark.

How to make the camera work?
I have a Samsung series 6 smart TV and the Logitech c920 web cam won't work for SKYPE, any suggestions?
the samsung smart tvs will only recognize the samsung skype cam made specifically for their tvs. however, they do work well for skype and motion control if you purchase one.

TV Version
What version of the TV do you sell? As I understand, there is a lottery with Samsung TV's regarding the panels. I would like to find a TH01 version...everything else is supposed to be inferior as the panel is made by a different supplier.

The version on the label of the unit I purchased at Best Buy is HS01. I have had no issues with it at all. In my opinion the picture quality is superior than that of equivalent Sharp TV displayed next to it on the showroom.

I want to hook up said game systems and other game systems that use said cables into this for surround sound, and just better sound overall. is this possible. I don't know anything about sound systems.

The PS3's HDMI cable will plug into one of the HDMI inputs. You will need a second HDMI cable to connect to the receiver to the TV.
The N64's red/white plugs will connect to the analog audio input. The yellow plug will still need to connect to the TV video input so an RCA extension cable may be necessary.
You can then adjust your surround settings based on the number of speakers you have and personal preference of sound profile.

For the UN40H6350AF you need to purchase a Samsung Skype Camera VGSTC4000ZA separately. When you plug it in to the appropriate USB port the TV will recognize the device and go to the setup menu automatically. You can then sign in to your Skype account (or create a new one) and are ready to go with a video call.
