I love all of metallica's catalog. I even enjoyed the albums everyone hates. I have enjoyed seeing how they've changed and tried new things. But the fans are right about one thing----this is Metallica at their best. I remember to this day hearing this album for the first time.
I love taylor's old stuff. She's a great song writer. I got kinda sick of her over the years tho. I always said she needed to do something different then the typical love/breakup songs......so she switched it up to pop and singing about katy perry. lol. Its good
Ive been a fan of Iron Maiden for as long as I can remember. They are a work of art. Every single release is a classic. But this one is my favorite. From start to finish. I could listen to this album on an island for the rest of my life and I would be one happy camper.
I discovered these guys at a In This Moment concert. Here is my initial response to seeing them walk out on stage: Stage looks like the inside of a space ship. Enter several guys in space suits. HA what a bunch of posers. Within minutes of the first song, these guys sure showed me how wrong I was to judge them. I cannot remember being more impressed by a band live. I have been to about 400 concerts. These guys made me a fan of the band within minutes of their set. Very very incredible show. I instantly went home and bought the cd. Buy it. its a work of art
When I first heard this I thought they were gonna be huge! Its a bummer not more people have heard of this band. This is a fantastic cd and I am looking forward to their next release.
Ive loved Foo Fighters for years. Each of their cds have been fun and different. Dave is a great guy and Im glad he found something to do after Nirvana. This release is solid and a good cd. But not my favorite. Its really short. And feels a little uninspired.
I hate this band. I have since high school. They are a joke and overrated and just goofy. But then I heard some songs from this cd and all i have to say is: THIS IS HOW ITS DONE! Fantastic release. Made me a fan of the band.
I love In this Moment. Ive loved them since the beginning. Their debut was incredible. Their next several releases were fun to listen to as the band tried new things and found their sound they wanted to pursue. I feel like this cd is In This Moment in a nutshell. Its got everything. Even a duet with Shinedown! The only thing that bothers me about this band is how its ALL about Maria Brinks and her image. It didn't bother me as much when she used to try to look hot. Now its all about looking scary. And it makes them look like a bunch of posers. I went to their concert and it was incredible...but it was all about Maria and her outfits. Im not hating on the band, and Im still giving this 5 stars, but come on. Go back to how you guys used to be.
Everyone hates on Nickelback. I never understood why. Ive always loved the band. Every single one of their releases have been fun to listen to. Ive never thought they were the greatest band in the world. But I never thought they deserved all the hate they get from people.
More recently Ive been able to understand a little more why they get made fun of so much. I think its mostly about their fans. They always think Nickelback is the greatest thing to ever happen to rock n roll. They're not.
Although I appreciate the experimental aspect of this album....it just doesn't work for Nickelback. Awful release. Ill keep listening to it. Hopefully it'll grow on me.
