MGM finally brings the fabulously bizarre Italian romps of a certain Greek god starring the one and only Lou Ferrigno to the small screen with this double-feature disc that promises unending viewing pleasures. This release presents both 1983's Hercules and 1985's follow-up, The Adventures of Hercules, in their original 1.85:1 widescreen pictures; the movies have been given anamorphic and Dolby Digital treatments that gloriously show off the glitzy effects to dizzying degrees. Both films also feature their theatrical trailers, proudly boasting "The Incredible Lou Ferrigno!" as their main selling point. For fans of kitsch cinema, one couldn't ask for a better value or product. This set was released in tandem with another '80s Ferrigno Italian masterpiece, Enzo G. Castellari's Sinbad of the Seven Seas.
