Our family has viewed this John Hughes classic each Thanksgiving for quite a number of years now. It never grows old and gives both Steve Martin and John Candy great opportunities to display their comedy chops.
There are plenty of memorable scenes, but for this reviewer, Dylan Baker's character steals the show. Great stuff!

Hard to beat the deal at this price

I got this set of 4 Tim Burton films primarily for two of the four films, Beetlejuice (delightfully weird) and Sleepy Hollow (decidedly creepy), but have been pleasantly surprised with both the Corpse Bride and "Charlie". The quality of the films is fine (sometimes a concern in multi-sets) and each is among Burton's best when it comes to atmosphere and mood.

Simply put, "Seinfeld" produced some of the most memorable characters and lines from television comedy since the advent of the cathode ray tube.
Every show seemed to have a series of small themes that all interconnected with one another in the most hilarious and creative ways. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed Star Trek "Beyond" in both the theater and then again at home. It's a very good movie that continues to further broaden the new generation of Star Trek characters. Heavy in CGI technology, it's definitely eye candy for those that love a lot of action, explosions, and battles. The movie is a little lighter in non-lead character development but heavy in action, so many will like that. The movie is a notch below the first two in the series, but still a fun cinematic experience,

"Starship Troopers" is a imaginative, gory, and graphic Sci Fi film that fortunately doesn't take itself too seriously. Based roughly on the novel by science fiction legend Robert Heinlein, the film depicts the bloody war between Earth and the distant world of Klendathu. A world which is inhabited by gigantic arachnids wanted to take over our beautiful blue orb. The story centers around a number of young infantry and pilots who join the Federation in order to become citizens and fight the "bugs". This film has great special effects which invoke some genuine thrills and chills. Not for the young or faint-hearted, "Starship Troopers" is a fun way to kill 129 minutes without losing too many brain cells.

The quartet of westerns in "The Clint Eastwood Collection" (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, and Hang 'Em High) thrust the aforementioned superstar into the public's eye. The first 3 films mentioned are generally known as the "Dollars" (or the Man With No Name) trilogy and were directed by Sergio Leone and scored by Grammy winning composer, Ennio Morricone. Eastwood plays a reluctant hero in each film representing "good" while going up against baddies like, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach. Hang 'Em High was not a Spaghetti Western, but still a familiar Eastwood vehicle consisting of a man (Eastwood) seeking revenge after surviving his hanging brought on by a ruthless gang.
These are some of the best Westerns ever made, so go enjoy!

Wayne is in fine form as a Texas Ranger/bounty hunter looking for a Cajun rogue (Stuart Whitman) with a large price on his head. The duo end up combining efforts against a violent band of gunrunners and thugs known as the Comancheros.
