I am actually reviewing the blue ray edition which has an excellent audio-visual presentation, and loved the show so much that I also picked up the DVD edition to have as a collector's item. Sale prices were very appealing
so I picked up each edition. If you haven't considered checking out this
new series, just watch season 1 & 2 trailers & I'm sure you'll be hooked
right away!

What's great about it: Great visuals, terrific cast with lots of new faces & compelling storyline.
What's not so great: Nothing at all. It's one of my favorite new shows.

I've only viewed the first two discs from this six disc set so far, but I can't wait to see the rest of these mesmerizing stories. Recalling many of these unforgettable moments in sports history reminds me of how important sports were in my life as a young man. Growing up in the early days of ESPN, I'm thankful and appreciative that this network put together such a great package of sports memorabilia and look forward to many of the newer episodes that didn't make it onto this set.

What's not so great: Obviously, older video footage is just dreadful in some cases.

Who's not a fan of all the great work from Paul Simon, either solo or along with Art Garfunkel. Totally enjoyable small venue concert with a really good band, but video falls just a little short only because a few more songs were needed to put this show over the top! Your left wanting a little more. Maybe there should have been a few more hits thrown into the set list, or possibly some rehearsal footage as extras, but 95 minutes is not quite enough. However, for the price I'm still happy with this disc.

As someone who really doesn't care for vampire movies, I gave this movie a chance because of a memorable movie trailer and civil war period setting. I loved how this fictional tale is spun around much of Lincoln's early tragic childhood memories, to his adult courtship of Mary Todd and eventual ascent to the presidency where the fight to defeat the spread of vampires into the northern states becomes as important to him personally as are the issues of preserving the union and ending slavery. The story moves along very quickly without overdoing the vampire thing and should keep both fans of the genre plus period movie fans very pleased with the great cinematography and terrific ensemble cast. As a bonus, the blue ray set also is in 3D!

What's not so great: One stupid scene with a stampede, probably done for 3D
