I needed to get a case locally and I wanted something that would provide good drop protection. This fits the bill but it's noticeably thicker than my old Incipio DualPro case and it's a bit slippery as it lacks a grip coating. Overall I'd say this case it pretty average.

This is a pretty good value—especially if you snag it on a sale like I did. The system is upgradable and ships with a quality video card. If you upgrade the included Western Digital HDD to an SSD this machine flies. Performance of the included HDD leave a bit to be desired, thus the lack of a 5 star review. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Including a mouse and keyboard (though basic) was a nice touch.

Ok but not good enough to keep

These headphones were well made and the noise cancellation worked better than expected. Voices do come through louder than desired but they block out most other noise well. My gripe with these headphones was the sound profile. The mid range was far too restrained and the highs were harsh. Bass was well controlled but the V shaped sound profile left me wanting a warmer sound profile. The harsh highs were something I couldn't get past. Ultimately I returned these and my search for a quality pair of noise cancelling headphones continues.

This is a lot of laptop for the price. The SSD in very fast and the screen is beautiful. Build quality is excellent.
FYI: this laptop needs to be plugged in before it will turn on the first time. If you pull it out of the box and try to run it off the battery it will not power on at all.

Great little tablet for the avg user BUT no iPad

I have owned a few tablets and currently own an iPad and iPhone. I'm invested in the Amazon ecosystem via Kindle e-readers and Fire TV's. This tablet is incredibly affordable and offers acceptable performance but it's heavily restricted if you do not figure out how to install the Google Play store as the Amazon App Store is missing a huge number of "every day apps". It's a great extension for Fire TV's and it's certainly a good choice as a primary tablet for kids or parents who don't have an Apple budget. Personally I still find myself reaching for the iPad.
