I like the versatility of this model, unfortunately the first two units had to return due to malfunctions (see attached photo) within a two week period, not much fun cleaning up. The present unit has been functioning well for a couple of weeks now, so time will tell.
I like the extra options for being able to select a setting up to 12 oz vs 8 oz as previous models.
I don't like the fact there are no samples included like previous models. This model also doesn't come with a,filter housing/holder or a carafe like previous 2.0 models. These are now items that have to be purchased separately.

Wouldn't recommend this remote to those who utilize enclosed cabinets because a direct line of sight is required or you'll have to setup with a hub. This remote respond rapidly to the touch and the screen resolution is very good. The overall setup of the remote was quick and easy and updates can be completed direct from the remote, without having to reconnect to your computer.

Item worked great with my Galaxy S5 but didn't work with my wife's Galaxy S3 while trying to make or take calls. The mic also didn't work as the calls were too distorted. What is the maximum number of devices that can be authorized to use Slingbox?
I currently use DirecTv's GenieGo app to watch recorded programs on my mobile devices. However, GenieGo limits you to 5 authorized devices which gets used up pretty quickly between my wife and mine's phones, tablets and notebooks. In order to use an unauthorized device I have to de-authorize one of the others which can be a real annoyance. Again, I'm asking how many devices can be authorized - not how many can use Slingbox simultaneously. Although that's another question I would need answered.
Slingbox will only allow access to one user at a time - if a second user wishes access the first user will be booted off.

Can Slingbox be used with multiple networked DirecTv DVRs?
I have 3 DirecTv DVRs that were networked by DirecTv to allow me to view recorded programs on any of the DVRs at any TV connected to any of the DVRs. Will Slingbox have access to recordings on all 3 DVRs or only the one it is physically connected to?
I've got the same set-up with DirecTV and I'm able to access recording from all my DVRs.

Will this control my Tivo DVR? If so, How?
Can I use the slingbox M1 to stream recorded content from my Tivo HD DVR? How does it send commands to the Tivo unit?
I don't see why not, as the Tivo unit would be controlled via an IR blaster. But I'd be calling Slingbox sales support to confirm. My set-up is with a DirecTV HD DVR and haven't had any issues. Good luck.
