Worth having for any Hendrix fan

The band is a bit sloppy here and there, but when they're on, they're really on. If you like the blues, check out Red House, amazing! A glimpse of the more laid-back approach Hendrix was taking, with more focus on the music instead of theatrics. A great Blu-ray transfer with superb sound.

Johnny goes back to his roots, doing cover versions of the music that inspired him. He may not be able to fire off the blistering solos like he did in his prime but his playing is still great. With some great guest artists backing him up, this cd is a must-have for any Johnny Winter fan.

For their 40th anniversary, the band plays their first two albums in their entirety. They do a good job of recreating the songs while also adding the sound of the current lineup. While good, it's not as good as the "Live At The Beacon Theatre" dvd. That said, it's still worth having.

This player loads way quicker than my old one did. Drawer opens right away and discs load very quickly. It was a snap to get on my wi-fi network and download a firmware update that was available. I don't have a 3D tv, so I can't comment on how well it plays those discs. So far I have no issues with it at all.
