This DVD player will make any DVD movie look good. Even the standard non-Blue ray movies. The 4K movies look just about as good as it can get. It's like you are right there in the scene, only standing a few feet away from the actors. I guess I'd call it Picture Perfect. It also interfaces with your router for YouTube, Netflix and so on. It's larger than most DVD players and I think it will run cooler as a result.

Well, so far, so good. I dropped cable and went with over the air reception which turned out to be even better than cable. So while I was on a roll I decided to god ahead with a complete upgrade and bought the Sony. It's the best I've ever had in my house. Built-in Netflix and YouTube is handy also.

I recently dumped cable TV because of the cost and went to over the air reception. With a signal booster antenna my reception improved greatly but there were still some stations which I should have been able to receive, but couldn't. When I tried the Insignia Digital to Analog Converter Box I went from 29 stations to 60. When you do a scan to see what stations are available using your TV it might not show some of the available station because the firmware in the TV is outdated and can't decode the signal. You need to use the Insignia to decode the signals if you have an older HD TV. If you use the HDMI outlet you will get HD reception if the station is broadcasting in that mode. You need to scan for stations using the Insignia, not the TV Scanner.

Make sure you have everything you need before starting the program. It would help if the tax people used ordinary language instead of the weird tax-speak. make sure you have your correct password ready to use when you buy the second option (The state tax option). It took me an hour or so just to "buy" the second state program, begging and pleading on the phone with the help people. By the way, why can't they include the cost of the state option in the original purchase instead of near the end of the procedure?

Got tired of the outrageous cost for cable TV. A friend recommended I try the MOHU antenna. I had it suspended from the ceiling for a couple of weeks and then put it up on the roof at about 30 feet above ground. What a difference! I went from 30 to 60 channels by moving it higher up. Some of the stations I had never heard of before I did have to buy a decoder for my older HD TV set, but it was worth it. Picture Quality is Great! Newer HD/4K sets probably wouldn't need the decoder.

At last some earbuds that will stay in place

I've always had trouble finding earbuds which will stay in place. Those with wrap-around the ear don't channel the sound into the ear and are not comfortable. These stay in place without undue pressure anywhere on my ear and sound good. I have to wear them when using my devices because of a severe hearing loss(For instance,I can't use a cell phone without some sort of earphone).

The little brackets do a good job holding the earbuds in place. The bad news is that when I wear them the actual sound outlet of the earbud is pressed against the side of my ear or somewhere, but not directed into the channel leading to the ear drum. They just don't fit my ear structure.

Can a failed drive be user replaced?
I'm not sure if you are asking about lost data, photos and movies or if the Passport pro just quit working. If you don't care about the stuff lost on the failed Passport Pro, just plug a new one in and use it. If you are talking about recovering the stuff on the drive Best Buy and other companies may be able to retrieve the lost data on the non-working Passport Pro. I recently had a external hard drive quit working and had Best Buy send it to a specialist and they were able to recover valuable family photos which I could not do on my own. Regardless, in the future, back-up your valuable stuff. Good luck.
