I was looking for an inexpensive mouse to replace a wired mouse on my computer. This Microsoft mouse was priced reasonably and it was advertised as being very accurate (and able to accommodate a number of surfaces). My experience is not as positive as the mouse's ability to track the surface of my desk is apparently not one of its strong suits. Battery life appears good, but I am constantly having to physically lift up the mouse and move it to a different surface for the cursor to track correctly. I find the tracking to be improved if the ambient light in the room is brighter. When using the mouse in a darkened room, the tracking issues seem to increase. It is difficult for me to blame the surface on which the mouse is being used as I did not experience the same issue from the wired mouse or from a competitor's wireless mouse. The problem appears unique to this Microsoft wireless mouse. If I was making the same purchase again, I would pick a different mouse (from a different, non-Microsoft company) entirely.

I have purchased rechargeable batteries and chargers for XBox controllers before. This was my first purchase of this particular brand/model. While it works for charging the batteries and I seem to get good usage out of the batteries before they die, the design of the charger is a little goofy to me. First, the controllers sit facing opposite directions. If the charger is in the middle of a table, that might make sense. If you have it against a wall, like I do though, the controller on the back side (toward the wall) is kind of a pain to work with. Part of the problem is that the units do not charge unless you push the controllers down and click or toggle the spring-loaded charging station. I suppose this is a good feature as it gives you a place to store the controllers (on the charging base) without actually charing them (which allows you to run down the battery over time before recharging them, which should increase the life of the battery, I believe). Along those lines, though, the recharging light is built into the base of the unit, making it difficult to see, especially for the "rear" controller if the charging station is pushed up against a wall. It is a challenge for me to see if the charger is actually charging as it is not easy to see the charging light. The charging light effect goes around the base of the charging unit, which would look nice, I suppose, if the charger were out in the open somewhere. Let's face it, though, a Xbox controller charger is not exactly the centerpiece of a typical living space and I suspect most will keep it tucked away. If that is the case, some of the features (such as the toggle function to charge and the location of the charging indicator light) are inconvenient or poorly incorporated.
Still, it works as advertised and, if those minor issues are not a concern, there is no reason to shy away from this particular model or brand.

Let's face it... This is coaxial cable. Nothing glamorous about it. The cable works exactly as promised. No problems with data transmission that I have noticed. The cable was a little more expensive than other options at a big-box home supply store, but Best Buy was more convenient for me, so I cannot gripe too much about the higher cost. (I rated four out of five stars predominantly because of the cost issue. If it performed as well as it has thus far AND was less expensive, five stars may have been warranted.)

I was looking for a video card that provided decent performance and multiple outputs (at least three) at a reasonable price. This card fit the bill. My games/applications are not horribly graphics intensive, so I cannot say too much about the card's overall performance besides the fact it drive three displays on the same time while one of them includes a rich playfield. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would not hesitate recommending it to others for most of your graphics needs.

Could so use an update...

I would love to give the iMac five stars, but it has been so long since Apple updated the unit that I cannot bring myself to do it. I purchased this particular unit because I needed something to fill the gap until new units are announced, hopefully sometime in 2017. I love the 27" 5K retina display, and the fusion drive is snappy. I really wish Best Buy would have had an i7 unit in stock, but they did not. I also would have preferred the 3TB fusion drive option given as how it is next to impossible to update the iMac components as an end user. With that being said, I also saved a little bit of money by not pursuing the extra options. (I did install some third party memory to increase the paltry 8 GB to 32 GB.) This is still a great computer, especially if you like MacOS, but I would have trouble recommending it to anyone as it should only be a matter of time before Apple updates this old iteration of the iMac. As soon as the updated iMacs are available in 2017, I am guessing this current unit that I purchased will either find itself on eBay or maybe it will be inherited by my kids... (I really wanted a Mac Pro, but those have not been updated in years. The last thing I want is to spend that much money on a computer for a replacement to come out only a few months later.) Unfortunately, Apple seems much more focused on their iOS devices, Apple Watch, and AppleTV at the expense of their Mac consumer base. Once there is finally an update to the iMac, I will probably jump back in with both feet. Until then, I would hold off unless it is not possible for you to wait it out.

Some interesting quirks...

I figured this was just another XBox One controller albeit in a different color. This controller seems to be a little different, though, in that it occasionally needs an update. The process is pretty simple and the XBox one handles the process, but this was something I never encountered with any of my other XBox One controllers. I have to wonder what makes this one special. Along those lines, I have noticed since the last update that starting my XBox One with this controller will cause the XBox One to freeze. I cannot confirm yet that it is because of this specific controller, but I had not experienced that problem until after the most recent update for this controller. For what it's worth, the A, B, X, and Y buttons are not color coded in and of themselves. Rather, there is a little color dot off to the side of the respective buttons. Not a huge deal, but I personally would have preferred that the buttons (or maybe the letters themselves) were colored. I did not notice this when initially purchasing the controller, but now that I am aware of it, I find it somewhat annoying. Given these two issues, I would probably recommend that you purchase a different XBox One controller (unless you are absolutely enamored with the color).

At first glance, it’s easy to be frightened by Hood Sickle. Some say it’s his imposing stature that freaks them out. Others are unnerved by his menacing hood. But most just try to stay away from his long, sharp scythe – and it didn’t help that he had a bad habit of disappearing and then suddenly popping up behind unsuspecting people. In fact, the Trap Masters that locked him away in Cloudcracker Prison hoped they would never have to see him again. But Master Eon thought there might be a chance for Hood Sickle to change his ways. Everyone said Eon was crazy, but after spending time with the mysterious creep, Eon learned that Hood Sickle was actually not a bad guy – just really super spooky. Hood Sickle took his job of terrifying others very seriously, and Eon believed that perhaps he could bring a similar dedication to teaching others as a Sensei. Plus, he figured that Skylanders in training would certainly pay attention in his classes. This has all proven true, and Hood Sickle now teaches Sentinel Imaginators, who definitely hang on his every word. Or else.

Personally, I was a little taken back by the price... I think a Displayport to HDMI cable should be about $20 tops, not double that. With that being said, the cable works well. I am using it to connect a 40" 1080p television to a gaming computer and have no concerns or complaints. It works as advertised. I am guessing there are less expensive options online, but having to wait was not at all appealing to me. Best Buy has these in stock (at least they did when I needed them), which made them worth the premium for me.
