The sound quality is awesome, the Connectivity is awesome, having chrome cast built in is awesome but it cuts off randomly, I've tried multiple speakers, and TV's, I've tried HDMI, BT and Optical, all sound formats and re flashing old, and new firmware, different cables nothing prevents the issue! no resolution from VIZIO no solutions at all. again the sound is awesome if only there was a fix, unit then i can't recommend t.

I bought this after buying the august lock, for the remote access, but the connection is quite iffy and frequently goes offline. it works 89% of the time, but if you want to allow remote access, i prefer Bluetooth keys. i would recommend this if you don't want to give any kind of access to the person your letting in.

How do I get bluetooth to play without CONSTANT skipping and jittering? It can't play a song to save its life. Casting works perfectly fine, but bluetooth audio streaming is simply unusable. This is with a Pixel 2 that does BT audio fine on other devices.

setting up Whole Home was a breeze...asked me to name its system with a password..now I have two different networks...which do I use? should i have renamed the google the same as my original one? a bit confused...works well, but crazy to see two

I currently have a Technicolor TC8717T from Spectrum. If I were to purchase the Google WiFi, would I need a new modem as well since the current modem is a modem/router combination? How would I connect the Google WiFi to the current TC8717T?
No you can either use both independently or you can bypass it altogether. to bypass it you would simply plug it in to the main wan port and from then on it would provide your wifi and internet. but understand each node only has one port so you can only have a wired connect for one device on each, unless you get a hub.
