Classic Fear Factory

If you've heard previous Fear Factory albums, then you know what to expect with their new album, Genexus. If you are looking for something that is radically different from their previous albums, then this is not it. This is a great album that would go well as a soundtrack to The Terminator. The album takes you from the creation to the destruction of the prototype. You will find very few, if any guitar solos on this song.

Slipknot's Back!!

This album is great all the way through. While still not as heavy or as good as their self titled album or Iowa, it is still a great album. I would consider this album to be kind of a cross between Volume 3 and their earlier albums.

Confusing.

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie...and then I saw it. This movie is confusing, and worst of all I found it disappointing. This movie has tons of twists and turns, which is fine, as long as the movie explains them. This one doesn't. By the end, all this movie did was leave me with confusion. And it's really long, that or it just seemed like it was really long.

Mediocre

I picked this up not having heard anything from this band, and I figured I'd give it a shot. Off hand, this reminds me of Atreyu. Their is a lot of contrast between the screams and singing. This works for some bands but in my opinion, their is too much contrast. I didn't really find anything exceptional about this album. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. This is just another scream-o band.

Terror abounds in the made-for-TV miniseries event Stephen King's It. The film is presented in a newly matted 1.85:1 widescreen edition that is modified from its original form (in other words, black bars have been inserted onto the top and bottom of the original full frame transfer). The image appears to be in better-than-average shape with colors and black levels all solid and well defined. While there appears to be some softness in the picture, overall this transfer should please horror fans everywhere. The soundtrack is presented in an apt Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix in English. Since Stephen King's It was originally produced for TV, it's no surprise to find this audio track flat and somewhat boring. However, what this mix lacks in directional effects and fidelity it makes up for with crystal clear dialogue, music and effects. Also included on this disc are English, French and Spanish subtitles. The sole extra feature on this DVD is a commentary track by director Tommy Lee Wallace and actors John Ritter, Richard Thomas, Tim Ried and Dennis Christopher. Filled with some funny asides about the production and witty banter (especially from Ritter), this commentary track is worth the listen for any true Stephen King fans.

This movie probably cost $100 to make

If you are looking for a truly terrifying horror movie this is not it. If you are looking for a cheap and cheesy horror movie, this is the one for you. My guess is that this movie cost about $100 to make, and that was for the clown suit. The effects are poor and the acting is subpar. This movie has some good one liners in it, and many of the funny parts are not intended to be funny. BEEP BEEP RICHIE!!!

Great Album

I wasn't sure as to what I should expect. The first Mushroomhead album that I ever got was XX. It blew me away then, and is still my favorite MRH album followed closely by XIII. I've found MRH to be pretty hit or miss after that. I really wasn't sure how they were going to pull off the album with three vocalists, but it worked. While still not as good as XX or XIII, in my opinion, this album is definitely better than their last one. If you are a fan from the pre-Waylon era, then you will appreciate the return of J Mann. The first 4 tracks are great, and start the album off very strong. Five and six, slow it down, for 7-9 to pick it back up. Track 10, is one of my favorites. I think it could have fit on one of their older albums. 11-13 are decent, while the cover of Adele's "Rumor has It" could have been better. Also, don't go out of your way for the bonus tracks. We are the Truth 3.0(remix) is ok, not a whole lot different from the standard album version. The two Watt remixes at the very end should have never seen the light of day. Overall, I would give it about an 8/10. It's a pretty decent album, with only a couple of blemishes on it.

What's great about it: Great to have J Mann back
What's not so great: Could use another guitar
