It's a good album, but nothing really jumps out at me. If you like previous Filter albums, then you will like this, but their isn't anything overly impressive with it.
Now to start off, I have no valid complaints about Avenged Sevenfold's new material...But man, this album is amazing!!! Just like their sophomore album, Waking the Fallen, this album is intense. It is waaaayyy heavier than their newer material, and the vocalist actually screams. If you are a fan of their new stuff, but haven't heard their first two albums, the new stuff will seem watered down.
Great music for your next raiding party. If you need some music for the next time you are going to raid some Saxons, this is it. Viking metal at it's finest.

This is a great little mouse. The battery lasts quite awhile as long as you remember to shut it off. Anything else, well it's a mouse. It works like a mouse should.
While I was less than impressed with KsE's last two albums (they weren't bad by any means, just not great). I think that this one has put them back on the map. I haven't listened to it enough yet to really get to know the songs yet, but I definitely will.
Silence in the Snow is an interesting Trivium album. Trivium has begun exploring a slightly softer side of things. This album, just doesn't have the raw power that you expect from a band like Trivium. Not that that's a bad thing, it just isn't as intense as normal. This is still a good album and it is picking up in my opinion.
I Worship Chaos has to be the best COB album over the last 5-10 years. Not that Blooddrunk, Halo of Blood, and Relentless Reckless Forever, were bad albums, they just weren't great in my opinion. While I don't know if COB will ever get back to their Are You Dead Yet/Follow the Reaper form, They are still producing good music.
If you're like me, the only reason I have even heard of Armored Saint, is because of Jon Bush's stint with Anthrax. While I won't say Armored Saint is as good as Anthrax, they are still a very solid 80's/Thrash Metal band. Like Overkill, Armored Saint never really got the recognition they deserve. If you like the Big Four, chances are, you'll like listening to Armored Saint.
This is the album that defines Fear Factory and put them on the map. Everything about this album is solid. Fear Factory has always been at the forefront of the industrial metal scene, and I hope they continue to produce solid material.
Demanufacture is a great album, while disc 2 (Remanufacture) is...so so. I think it would be unfair to expect Remanufacture (Disc 2) to be as good as Demanufacture. Remanufacture is a remix album, and like most remix albums, some of the tracks are quite good, while others are unbearable.
If I remember correctly, this is mostly a collection of remastered demos that were made before their first album. These tracks were released to fulfill part of their contract with Road Runner records when they were getting ready to leave the label. This album has more of a death metal feel to it, compared to their more usual industrial metal feel. You will find very little, if any, of Burton C. Bell's clean vocals on this album.
