My router died at my house - an older E series Linsys. I got this as an in between as I didn't want to spend more than $130 but I needed that boost in coverage and speed. Man this little router is great. I'm getting way better speeds and better coverage than before. Name the 2.4 and the 5 ghz bands with the same ssid and you devices will work at the highest speed possible. If you need a great router but don't want or can't spring for the Nighthawk, this will not let you down.

This is a great movie. Interesting plot, great characters, fun to watch. The confusing marketing did it no favors. Cruise is great in this, Blunt is better. If it's on sale, pick it up, it belongs in your collection. If you really like it, pick up the "all you need is kill" manga, which this movie is an adaptation of.

But if you're a fan of Tarintino you'll enjoy it. It's vulgar and violent and at times eye rolling my far fetched but the ends justify the means here. A great dialogue movie; but there's no hero here. It's called the hateful 8 and you'll hate them all. Watch some clips on YouTube if you're on the fence.

Studio Ghibli makes some beautiful movies, and this is one of the best. I saw this in the theater years ago, bought it on VHD, DVD and now blu-Ray. It's one of those movies that simply belongs in your collection. My only regret is not picking it up when it had the slip case, because I'm a sucker for that.

MMO-Lite with Final Fantasy

This is an odd game. On one hand, it's final fantasy, on the other, it's not like typical Final Fantasy games. It is not a jrpg. What it is, however, is a pretty good MMO that's been scaled way down to fit into your hands, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
The game play is a lot of fun. It is LESS Monster Hunter and more Phantasy Star Online, if you ever played that. The goal here is to collect items, craft new weapons, armor and accessories, and unlock Jobs.
If you're new to the Job system in Final Fantasy, it's just a way to say "class". Want to be a mage? Get the mage job. Want to be a fighter? Get the Fighter job. Simple and effective.
The graphics are standard fare, the characters are cute and some of your favorite Final Fantasy staples will show up. There's a lot of jagged lines but it's not ugly. There is no 3D effect at all, so it will not matter if you're playing on a 2DS or a 3DS.
The game does support the Circle Pad Pro, which you can use as a camera control stick, or if you have a "New" 3DS you can use the nub to control the camera, but you will have to go into options and enable the CPP for the nub to work. Otherwise, you're stuck using the dpad which I sometimes use anyway.
Would I recommend it to a friend? I'm going to say yes here but the truth is "maybe". If they don't like games that play in the MMO space or they don't like Final Fantasy at all then there are better games to spend your money on. HOWEVER, if an MMO type game is cool with you, and you have any love for Final Fantasy, particularly old school Final Fantasy, then go ahead and pick this up, especially if it's on sale.

Another great game for the 3DS. First party games tend to have a certain quality to them which is why they're hard to catch on sale. Mario games particularly have a certain charm. This remains true here. The obvious comparison is with Dream Team, the previous Mario RPG type game on the 3DS, and with Sticker Star, the previous PAPER Mario game on the 3DS. Dream team had some issues, it was kind of slow and very wordy. The tutorials were known to drag on. Sticker Star.. well it was a game that not many enjoyed for various reasons. None of that is present here. The Paper Mario aspect fits in well and suffers none of Sticker Stars problem and the tutorial issue from Dream Team has also been fixed. This game is fun to play and is the high quality product you'd expect.
It is well worth the investment.
One thing to note: make sure you have the right Amiibo if you plan on using them with this game. They're not necessary, but do add to the game.

A great game for adults - not for kids

If your early teen is asking for this then don't buy it unless you're 100% sure they can handle it. Lots of violence, provocative situations and murder. This is NOT for kids or the immature.
If your teen is mature or you are an adult, you'll love this game. It's a farce at all things wrong with society. Think of the TV show Fargo (based on the movie) mixed with a Tarantino twist with a large dose of heist movie and you'll be somewhat close. As the player you'll steal cars, rob banks, shoot a lot of people, smoke fat ones and visit the strip club. A Lot.
Still, for all it's faults, it's a blast - it's fast action, it's in your face, it's hilarious. You'll enjoy it.
