I purchase Disney Infinity figures primarily for the collectability. I don't own the starter pack that would have enabled me to actually play the video game aspect of it on my PS3. I'm only after the figures, and use them for display.
As far as "action figures" go, these are very well made. The detail on them is amazing given their size (about 3 inches tall). They're more like small statues than action figures because they lack joints to make them poseable, but it doesn't take away from their ability to look really nice on a shelf, especially in big numbers.
This version of Kylo Ren is the one that doesn't have the light-up feature for the lightsaber. I'm not sure if there was a way to make the lightsaber light up when not connected to the game console so I didn't risk it. Then again, it's just a $1 difference between the two at the time I purchased this.

I have nothing negative to say about this Darth Maul figure except maybe the choice of the design for the base. Being a Star Wars fan, I found the desert sand base to be a little inaccurate in relation to the rest of the figure. Darth Maul never used both blades of his lightsaber on the desert planet Tatooine. He should have been done with a Naboo base instead.

Subtle Love Story, Hits Home for Immigrants

The movie follows the life and struggles of an Irish immigrant who finds how difficult it is to start a life for herself in NY when everything she has ever known and loved are all back home in Ireland.
The movie was very simplistic, which captures how life was back then. Saoirse Ronan was so pleasant to look at, and made all the scenes involving herself visually captivating.

Interesting Take On A Classic Tale

I personally found Pan an enjoyable viewing experience, despite the majority of reviews being negative. The film's flaws (as others have put it), were in the restraint that Wright applied to keep the film family-friendly. Still, it was interesting to know how Peter Pan came about before we knew him as Peter Pan.

This movie is about the French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. It's fun to watch from beginning to end because it isn't your usual heist movie, even though it feels exactly like one. The "heist" part here refers to the rules the characters are willing to break in pursuit of their quest to help the main character's goal of walking on a wire stretched across NYC's Twin Towers.
I purchased the regular 2D version. It's a beautifully crafted film, breathtaking in every way, and a treasure of the cinema world.

A little trivia: This is Disney's first animated motion picture in full color and sound.
I missed out on the first time this timeless classic was released on the blu-ray format so I'm glad Disney decided to re-release this movie. It came in a really beautiful collector's edition lenticular packaging. This Signature Collection release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs features the same 1080p transfer and contains all of the same audio options as found on the previous Diamond Release.

Replace Old Versions With This One

I already have the 15th Anniversary Edition of Apollo 13 and was very happy with that release. 5 years later, Universal Studios treats us with an even better version of this awesome movie. The 20th Anniversary Edition gives us a far more superior 4K transfer for perfect picture quality, a DTS-Master Audio track, and an additional bonus featurette called "Apollo 13: 20 Years Later"
If you still have the old version of this film, or don't have this film in your collection at all, this 20th Anniversary Edition version is the perfect one to get.

Nothing New, Same Exact Disc As Before

There really is no reason to purchase this blu-ray if you already have the version from 2006. It contains the exact same disc. The only plus side to purchasing the 10th Anniversary Edition is that this version contains a UV Digital Copy, and the packaging includes a really beautiful outer cardboard slipcover.
