We were torn about which microwave to get. We needed one to fit on the counter, but not so big that it would take up the entire counter. We also needed something large enough to handle our normal cooking tasks. This worked out to be a good balance of price, size, power, and features.
There are a couple of things I don't like, but I'd say they're somewhat minor. The glass on the door is pretty dark and very hard to see inside when something is cooking. I realize it's a mirrored look, but it would be nice if the light inside could make it so we could see the food heating. The buttons are a little hard to read unless you're at the right angle and pretty close to the microwave because of the mirrored finish. The mirrored finish also attracts fingerprints like crazy. They clean up easily, but do show quite a bit, especially with small kids around. None of those detract from the function of the microwave to heat food, but could make a difference to some.

Good coffee for a reasonable price

I'll admit that I mostly bought this because it was on clearance. The "bold" type works well for larger cups of coffee. The flavor was pretty good and met my expectations. I'm not a fan of dark roast coffees so the medium roast was well-suited to my tastes. I'd buy again if the price was right.

Good price for a lot of batteries

We have a couple children at home and use a LOT of AA batteries. We took advantage of this sale to give us a bit more freedom to run the various devices that require batteries. I know we could use rechargeable batteries, but some of these devices just don't warrant the cost.
The batteries have performed well, though I probably will stick to rechargeables for things like video game controllers as much as possible. For devices that don't require that, I'd have no concerns buying again for this price.

Works well with HP Spectre x360

I bought this for my wife's laptop, the HP Spectre x360. After getting the batteries in place and getting it set to use, it worked well with no modifications. HP doesn't advertise this too heavily as working with their Spectre x360 line, though they should. The pressure sensitivity and erasing worked well as did tapping on screen for basic interaction. Once MS Office apps noted the stylus, the "Draw" menu became available. Writing and tapping using those options worked well and I can see this being useful for jotting notes/pics as needed.
I did realize that if the batteries and/or stylus get too hot before using (such as when sitting in a car), you can have serious overheating problems. After cooling off, this didn't affect the way the stylus worked, but it was a bit worrisome at first.
Overall, it's a bit pricey, but if you have an HP Spectre x360 and want a stylus to go with it like some other PCs in this price range, it's worth considering.

Great touch screen ultrabook

I picked this up for my wife to allow her to have something she could use on the go. Her criteria for a laptop is that it should be light and run for a long time without needing to be plugged in. Her ideal machine would have an optical drive as well, but that's just not as necessary in today's world and you can easily get an external drive for when they're needed. That being said, I looked around and was trying to decide between two very good machines - the Dell XPS 13 and the HP Spectre x360.
I landed on the Spectre for a couple of reasons.
1. Price - it's slightly less expensive than the Dell for similar specs
2. Power/Longevity - the specs for this machine should mean for a machine that will work well for several years
3. Touchscreen - included in this model
4. Convertibility - yes, it's more likely to be used as a laptop, but the hinges have been re-done over prior models and my wife liked the idea of being able to use it in some sort of easel mode to show things to people.

So far, it's performed admirably. Standby life has been exceptional - still having a significant charge even after several days without power. Battery life has been pretty good. I haven't really tested under more normal usage yet - my main time out had some pretty heavy network usage as I was downloading updates, presenting, and modifying files. Even then we still had a good amount of battery left when all was done and the session went longer than expected.
Biggest thing to get used to - the touchpad. It works well, especially if you get the latest drivers. However, it's pretty big and I did find that I was moving the mouse cursor around unintentionally once or twice. Still, it works well even if it does take some getting used to for someone used to having buttons for the mouse functions.
Overall, this machine has a good combination of weight, ports, storage, RAM, and power that will serve us well. I'm pleased with the purchase. I debated briefly about getting the next model up with the larger storage and screen density, but ultimately don't think those will be necessary. I probably could have gone down to an i5 processor, but think the i7 will serve well for the times that we'll use it.

Will this work with the Wii U to hold games?
I tried it with a Wii, but it didn't work with the older hardware there (not many larger capacity USB flash drives will). I think there are websites out there that can give you some idea of whether or not this will work, but your better bet is to spend a similar amount on a USB 2.0/3.0 hard drive like a Seagate Backup Plus. You'd have higher capacity and still get reasonable speeds.

Timer question revised
Let me try asking my original question another way.
I want to be able to set the timer on the microwave for 10 minutes while I boil a potato on the stove. While that timer is counting down those 10 minutes I want to cook frozen veggies for 6 minutes.
Can the timer work as a timer while the microwave is cooking?
My current (and all my previous) microwave oven can/could do this. This is an extremely important feature for me. I wish to find a mid-size microwave that can run the timer as the time while also cooking. In other words, be able to use the microwaves timer as a timer while food is cooking, thus they are separate functions that can function at the same time.
Please advise.

Yes, the kitchen timer can run while the microwave is cooking. We were pleasantly surprised to find this.

how do you reheat dinner on a plate for 2 minutes????
Seems like this microwave is too complicates for us. If we put food on plate, put in microwave, close door, punch in 2, press start, then it runs for 2 seconds only and shuts off, so dinner does not get reheated. Our old microwave was simple hat way; just punch in number of minutes nd Start. It even has a 30 second button. This microwave is useless to us if we don't get help.
Punch in 200 to show 2:00 on the screen and hit start - or hit the 30 second button 4 times. There are a handful of reheat options that could be useful as well - I'd recommend looking at the manual for details there.

how is the webcam quality?
We've had no issues with the webcam quality. I don't think it's HD, but it works well when we use Skype or Google Hangouts to video call people in another state. It seems responsive enough for our uses and works well in indoor lighting.
