I've already got a Rift but wanted a system that wasn't plagued with all the drama that Oculus and Bethesda are going through. The experience is just as good as the Rift minus the crapppppy Move controllers. The graphics, however are terrible (no too bad if you haven't used a PC based VR Platform).
If you haven't experienced VR and you have a PS4 then grab this. If you've already got a gaming computer and don't mind some tweaks to make games work, grab a Rift for nearly the same price.

Great tablet for the price, even better when you get the full android experience. The RAM does limit it's usefullness. Too many tabs opened in Chrome will cause crashes. I mainly use it as a Moon Reader Plus reader so it's not really an issue for me.

until I got the night hawk. Only had this joker a week and they released the new version. so now this one's going as backup.
As for using it, the device has a pretty powerful antenna and the ability to connect to 4G (actually 3G WCDMA) or 4G LTE, which is important to me since the hotspots I have prefer the LTE connection which is weaker and slower than the WCDMA.
It also provides a ton of info on connection quality, band, etc. Way more than what most people would want.
Even though its performance is equal to the nighthawk where I live I've replaced it. If I wasn't so darn greedy and smarter I'd just stick with the Explore as it's one heck of a hotspot.

Last Nintendo console was the n64 but just a few weeks ago I bought an open box 3ds XL and was quite impressed. I think I'm loving the portable gaming units now. I grabbed this with BoW, Mario+Rabbids, and Disgaea 5. Having a blast so far. Only gripe is that the screen doesn't get dim enough for nighttime use.

So call me a lazy bum! I love the colors esp the blue and red for night time. Plus not having to get up to switch a light has come in handy. Sure these jokers are expensive and I wouldn't have gotten them if the GHome/Chromecast bundle wasn't so nice, but I'm glad I did.

Better than I thought it would be

I had big reservations about having an always on mic in the house. But according to other folks there aren't any outside connections until the wake word was spoken.
For music it's very bass heavy and puts out a good amount for such a little speaker. But it's also muffled on the mids and highs - there's only one Mid-sub and no tweeter.
It does have a hard time hearing me sometimes though. I have to wake it with a higher pitched voice for it to acknowledge me (I gotta do the same at drive thru's or they can't hear me). So deeper voiced guys (maybe gals too) may have a hard time waking it up.
I've barely scratched the surface on what this thing can do so I'm off to reading more about hidden gems with this unit.
