Keaton plays an actor who once played Birdman, a made up hero with the kind of following Batman had. Wanting to get away from being stereotyped as just capable of being Birdman he is now trying to put on a "serious" broadway play. Trying to direct some difficult actors and balance out acting in it as well, the lead character literally is fighting himself. His alter ego continually talks to him and sometimes he has breaks from reality as he thinks of having the superpowers of Birdman.
It's a tough one to review as it is so character driven, but Keaton shows off his acting chops here which is why it was up for many awards. It is a story that both reminds us of men like Keaton who played Batman and Adam West who continues/d to try and remain relevant beyond the characters that made them famous. I'm not sure if it is a story I will watch many times, but it was definitely worth seeing at least once.

A typical Vince Vaughn type of movie

Like most of Vince Vaughn's movies, this one is both full of sarcasm while having a bit of a heart. Trying to pull off a Jerry Maguire moment at his office, Vince walks out grabbing a couple other employees to make a rival marketing firm. After a few years, they are still struggling and once more come into competition with his old company.
There is a lot of funny moments, but beware there is nudity and graphic humor as well. Not one for the kids. If you enjoy Vince Vauhn's comedic style and previous movies, you'll probably like this film also.

When aliens misinterpret our signals from the 80s and send champions to earth to fight over whether to destroy it, of course you call on Adam Sandler and the boys to save it. Giant digital constructs of old games like millipede and Pacman manifest in real life and it takes arcade champion logic to take them down. The only drawback to this movie is it was too short. It would have interesting to see a few more arcade classics brought to life, but it was a great movie.

Great spy movie mixed w/ humor

Was a great throw back to the 60s spy movies. The lead actors fit the part so well and the creators used costume, location and story to make you both feel the era, yet it felt contemporary as well. It was a story full of action and great humor as the male leads from different countries and view points were at odds with each other, but begin to build a friendship there as well. Vikander was both hilarious and entrancing also, so it is definitely a movie I will watch more than once.

I finally ran into a memory issue with the Tab 4 and went for the maximum memory upgrade. Not everything can be shifted to fully open up the main memory, but it works smoothly for what is on there. You'd never know that a secondary card had been added.

A Justice League from a new universe

DC puts out multiple animated titles each year and 1 is usually outside the main series. This is the one for this year. In an alternate universe to the one most people know: Superman's father isn't Kal-el and he isn't found by the Kents. Raised by migrant workers his worldview is quite different from the Superman of the main world. Batman isn't Bruce Wayne and Wonder Woman isn't one you know either, but using these three main changes Bruce Timm wrote a unique new world that still looks a lot like the DC titles we're used to. Are the heroes or villains? Should humanity appreciate their interference and how hard handed should the three be against the villains in their world. Though there is a lot of thought to the philosophy of this world, there is still plenty of the action that we are used to in the Justice League titles. It was a refreshing twist to what we are all used to.

I had seen the original and gave this sequel a shot. Set in a world where monsters of all sizes roam the earth, this one was really more about a group of soldiers (4 friends from Detroit as the intro goes through) on their first tour of duty in the Mid East. At first it looked like it was going to be a monster hunting force. They ride in on a helicopter while jets drop bombs on a herd of the giant creatures, but then it changes tone to the eight special forces going on a mission to retrieve 4 lost soldiers.
There is more about the impact of the US making as many enemies as they kill monsters. Indiscriminately often killing locals while trying to exterminate the alien creatures, the soldiers find themselves fighting the insurgent forces that want them out.
If you want a commandos against the world kind of movie with a scifi environment, it would probably suit your needs.

When God withdraws leaving his angels behind, Gabriel leads the lesser angels in a war against humanity believing that God simply found humans unredeemable. Becoming fallen angels (demons are never mentioned), the lesser angels don't have bodies and take over humans to act physically. It's never said if they're trapped in the bodies they inhabit, but it seems so. Michael takes the human's side which eventually leads to a draw in the war. Humanity hole up in cities like Vega (formerly Vegas). Religion focuses on a human savior known as the chosen one and it is believed that Michael saved a baby that would one day save them from the vindictive angels. The series follows the people of Vega arranged by numbers from ones scraping by, to soldiers and upper classes that basically become nobles. Michael plays a major part as well and the war looks to renew as other upper angels begin to choose sides with the ability to look human when they want to as well.

A follow up to Justice League War, we find out why Aquaman wasn't in the first of the DC reboots of their universe. DC is trying the Marvel Universe linked movie universe plan and this one finds Arthur Curry, Aquaman, before he knows why he is different. About the time his father passes away, his step brother an Atlantean is talked into trying to take the throne from their mother the queen. He wants war with the surface world to try and protect Atlantis, which of course put him in direct conflict with the Justice League.
His mother sends Mira to find Arthur, while the Justice League soon look for the man both sides hope will become the link between both worlds.

Lesser known Marvel characters

Marvel Knights uses the original comic book art so it is a little less fluid than the Marvel/DC animated movies, but this one is one of the best out so far. Covering a story of two secondary races living unseen by humans who were tampered with by alien "gods", the eternals have lost their memory of who they once were. It's a solid story. I would recommend Inhumans as well from the Marvel Knights since more people may be familiar with them from the Fantastic Four and current S.M.A.S.H (Hulk) series.

You can try a hard reset on it by pulling the plug and letting it sit for about a minute before plugging it back in. Sometimes that will work but If it was working correctly for 3 months and is suddenly acting up it's possible that you had a power surge. You might need to use the manufacturer warranty. Usually even if you sign up the same day, you can get in touch with the manufacturer as soon as it is in their system. They can help you beyond that.

I thought the battery was supposed to be good on this iPad, but I bought it to replace old iPad mini and battery doesn't last any longer, if as long. I have background refresh off and swipe pages away often. Is less than day it?
From what the salesman said at purchase, the new Ipad did not have a battery upgrade. Battery usage will vary from the apps used, of course, and the larger screen on a regular size Ipad will likely drain the battery faster than the smaller screen. Closing the pad to turn off the screen, I can use Spotify (sent by Bluetooth to my sound system) for much longer than when the screen is on, so again battery life will vary according to what you are using it to do

Is this an iPad Pro or just the "regular" ipad?
This is the updated "regular" version, the Pro adds a higher quality contrast and more colors for a better picture for watching movies. It is not 4K, however, I did ask. So that is the main thing aside from initial software built into the Pro that will be different.

Can I automatically get Netflix on this if I already have it on my Iphonn?
yes, just use the app store and once its loaded, put in your Netflix info for your account. Most (if not all) portable products like this can do that, but one thing to remember, if a lot of people are using the account at the same time (ie: kids on their pads and their parents at the same time) you may need to upgrade the Netflix account to the slightly more expensive version. That package also includes 4k and more than 4 people using it at once.

It requires a usb for the transmitter piece that comes with the headphones. As far as I can tell from the instructions, it is only usable with PS3 and PS4. A direct inquiry to Sony might tell you how you could use them with a different device, but it would need the USB slot and probably special software.
