While this actually includes three features: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad / The Reluctant Dragon / Fun and Fancy Free.... some DVD extras from previous releases are not on this new blu-ray release. Laziness on Disney's part.

What's great about it: Finally on blu-ray in HD
What's not so great: Some DVD extras not ported over to this new release

2-disc Collector's Edition DVD extras are not all on the new blu-ray. They've already spent the money to produce the extras--how hard would it be to include them on the blu-ray disc? There's available space on the disc. Laziness on Disney's part.

Again Disney shorts a Hercules release of extras

Since its first release on DVD 15 years ago, Disney has shown little love for this title. The blu-ray only includes a couple of brief extras--the same ones from 15 years ago. Nothing new, and not effort made to make this blu-ray a better value.

Disney has released the superior 139 minute extended cut twice before on DVD. For it's first blu-ray release, they chose only to include the 117 minute theatrical version, when they could have easily used seamless branching disc authoring to include both versions on blu-ray.

What's not so great: Disney chose to only include 177 theatrical version, and not the restored 139 minute version

Universal is hit-and-miss with catalog blu-ray releases, but this is better than their usual effort. A low-budget film that will never look fantastic, the disc looks and sounds fine. But most importantly, it carries over the vast majority of the previously-produced extras from the DVD releases.
