Took away one star due to lag. Every time you press a button on the virtual remote, there is noticeable and significant delay, and the stream actual freezes, not sure why. Video streams great, but controls are kind of clunky. I use the IR cable, due to device location, not sure if that introduces the lag. Other than waiting for the device to respond after remote commands, it works great.

As this product is sold in the United States where all power inputs are 110V, does it come with a 110/240V adapter for the base station to support power inputs in Europe and Asia?
I'd "assume" that if they were brought there, probably yes, but US purchased ones do not.

Performance in very hot, desert weather
I live in the desert of the SW, USA. During the summer it is 110+ degrees annually, with the highs being 120-122 degrees. The location on my house that I'd like to mount at least two of these cameras on would get direct sunlight for most/all of the day.
My question is whether or not anyone has used these cameras in these conditions, and how did they perform? I see that their operating temperature is rated to 122 degrees.
Also, how did the heat-based sensors work?

I would recommend checking the Arlo forums to see how other users have faired. Had a hot summer this year. Didn't have any problems. I think motion sensitivity setting, and distance from base station will play a bigger part in battery drain. My furthest cameras batteries died first.
They have infared sensors, but also detect motion left to right, so positioning is crucial. Mines pick up moving tree branches, depending on sensitivity.

Motion Detection & Outdoor? How?
Hi, can someone explain how motion detection in outdoor works? Wouldn't tree leaves falling or grass moving trigger the alarm? Maybe a piece of rubbish got blown to your front door and the motion detector would trigger?
It all depends on motion sensitivity, which can be adjusted.
