The trailers for this movie did not do it justice. Hearing that this movie was a prequel, I was concerned that since I knew the outcome, it would not have much impact. The only prequel portion deals with the Huntsman's origin story; the rest is a sequel to the Snow White & The Huntsman. And what a sequel it is: Well acted, fast paced action, great special effects. Who could ask for more?

I was not impressed with this film. It seemed slow and rambling rather than gripping and tense. Although well acted, I was just not captivated. Beyond that, I dislike the criminal getting away with it, regardless of motivation.

John Lithgow turns in a great performance as the head of the Henderson family who befriend a bigfoot after they hit him with their car. Well done make-up for "Harry", the bigfoot, help with the suspension of dis-believe factor. A little slap-stick at times, this is a good family movie.

Soul shaking subject beautifully portrayed

The movie is a disturbing look at the holocaust. The film is shot entirely in black and white (with one moving exception), which adds impact to the subject. This 20th anniversary collection has some very interesting extras as well as presenting in DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital formats.
