It seems that we would grow tired of Tom Hanks deciphering riddles and saving the world. That will never happen as long as the plot lines, acting and pace of the movies continue like this. This movie is great fun and an excellent addition to the films started with "The DaVinci Code."

Tim Burton strikes again. A very interesting story with intriguing characters (especially the variety of "peculiarities") and a crisp story line.
I would warn that there are some dark spots that might be disquieting to younger audiences...But that should not be unexpected from director Tim Burton.

Dissappointing Luc Beeson production

I had heard about this film and wanted to see it. I found it somewhat disappointing - not the usual excitement and elegance of something by Luc Beeson. This is one of his first films, which explains a lot. Four years later (1994) he produces "Leon: The Professional", which is fantastic, and he has made many more fine films since. Its value lies in the historical perspective of Beeson's work.

I had forgotten how good this movie was. Excellent acting from so many - both those portraying the astronauts and the NASA personnel. Crisp scripting keeps the story suspenseful and fast paced. The fact that it is a true story adds a measure of impact as well. Well worth watching!

Both Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman portray their roles as knights with passion and drama. The action scenes are well done and fun. My only regret was that there is a period mid-film where things become tedious as we watch Clive Owen brood over the death of his master and his role in that death.

The good news is that there are eight movies to watch. The bad news is that you may not care to. Many of the included movies were fairly insipid.
There were two standouts, though: "Formosa Betrayed" covered an interesting historical incident from Formosa's past (1947) which I previously knew nothing about. The other is "Silver Hawk" with Michelle Yeoh, where she plays the title character - a crime fighting vigilante.

Good (but not great) addition to the series

I have been a fan of the original Bourne movies for a long time. I was disappointed in the direction the Jeremy Renner version tried to take us and excited to see Matt Damon back in the lead role. it was (as expected) well acted, and had all the right action sequences. It could not, however, match the originality and intensity of the Bourne Trilogy.
The flip side to that is that I do consider it part of the Bourne mythos and it will remain part of my collection.
