The notion of a civilization trying to exist without electricity was an interesting premise for a TV series, but as Revolution limped into a second season, it seems to have abandoned that solid premise for a convoluted political mythology that was frequently confusing and not all that interesting, Not to mention a side plot involving nanites that never really went anywhere. What a waste of a potentially good series.

It's not often a Stephen King project can go virtually unnoticed, but that's what seems to have happened to this low-profile Lifetime project. It may not be King at his absolute best, but A Good Marriage still has many of the King's trademarks and well worth seeing now that it's on DVD.

Somewhere buried deeply in The Atticus Institute is an interesting idea or two, but you'll probably have a difficult time finding them. More than once, you get the feeling that the filmmakers are just going through the motions. The scares are few and far between, and the film looks... cheap. Maybe give this one a miss.

Let's be honest, Zero Theorem is not Terry Gilliam's finest work (especially when compared to landmarks like Time Bandits and Brazil) but ANY Gilliam film has something worth seeing. You'll probably have to watch this one two or three times until it sinks in, but maybe that's not a bad thing!
