Summary- know your car and what you're getting! IF you have a 12v outlet in an accessible location AND IF you have somewhere to mount your phone that keeps it accessible for touching (not holding) AND IF you have a radio with Bluetooth and/or AUX connectivity, then the ROAV BOLT is a good solution to make your car smarter.
What do I mean?
- 12v outlet: The microphone for the BOLT is in the 12v plug. In my vehicle, that puts it just above the gear shift below the A/C controls in the dash which appears to work well. We used to have a minivan where the outlet was pretty much on the floor well below the driver and on my spouse's car it's on the passenger side of the center console near the passenger's knees. I can't imagine that this placement wouldn't impact the pick-up for the microphone.

- Telephone mounting: I drive A LOT of rental cars, so I have some experience with many manufacturers' "connected car" solutions. I have yet to find a truly "hands-free" solution- there still always seems to be certain times when you need to simply switch apps, hit an on-screen confirmation, etc. So, you've got to have somewhere/somehow to keep your phone easily accessible WITHOUT HOLDING IT or constantly having to pick it up.
- BT or AUX Connectivity: For the ROAV to work, either the ROAV needs to be connected to your radio via an AUX cable or your phone needs connected to your radio via Bluetooth. Not all older vehicles have at least one of these options, so be aware!
Now, presuming you've got the pre-requisites covered, how does this thing work? REALLY WELL!
- I drive a >10 year old Jeep with the original soft top. If you've ever ridden in something similar, then you know that having an intelligible conversation with someone in the passenger seat at highway speeds is nigh on impossible. That said, the noise-cancelling powers of the ROAV's microphone have proven quite reliable at highway speeds- even with all the windows down (you can barely hear the radio sometimes in those conditions!) I've also been able to have hands-free phone calls for the first time ever and my test callers have reported very little disturbance from the significant background noise in the Jeep.

- Google Assistant appears to work slightly better with some apps than others (e.g. more seamless with Google Maps vs. Waze & smoother with Spotify than Pandora), but I've been able to make it work in all cases. The only difference is really the amount of voice control vs. phone-touch interaction. Per my earlier comments, I have yet to find an out-of-the-box and/or built-in solution that doesn't seem to require some amount of this configuration and voice/touch combination.
Overall, I'm quite impressed and excited to have a much more "connected" vehicle than I had before

Context: I am not an audiophile and use my headphones in 2 settings- at work to block out the cube farm noises and when running by myself for an hour or more.
At work (& any setting tried thus far) the JBL Endurance Peak headphones are absolutely the most comfortable I've ever tried. Others I've tried start out OK, but begin to annoy me after 45-60 minutes+/-. The sound is not as rich as others I've tried, and if you're priority is lots of heavy bass there may be better options. Again, in all settings, I truly enjoy the wireless aspect- having a cord of any sort hit my neck and/or get caught on something is a true downer!
For running/working out: the aforementioned comfort and lack of wire are appreciated. Of much greater importance in this setting- they don't wiggle, feel loose, or distract me with constant thoughts of "I'm about to lose $120 headphones" or, worse yet, put a marathon PR in jeopardy because I have to stop and pick up my headphones. I've been dubious of this retention aspect of true wireless headphones, but the JBL Endurance Peak headphones have shown it can work.

Context: I wanted a small, fast, capable 2-in-1 to take care of "regular" home computer needs for me (e.g. bills, taxes, shopping for things I may not need, etc.) and allow my daughter to have a more portable solution for her school needs (e.g research, writing papers, spending too much time on YouTube and social media). Nothing fancy. Will provide updates as I test other functions.
Pros:
- LOVE the 13.3" size- big enough to use, small enough to be light & portable
- Much prefer the metal case vs. plastic
- SSD is very fast- for startup, working and getting apps up & rolling
- I'm no audio or videophile, but the picture and audio are definitely better than any of the (admittedly older) laptops I've used
- The amount of "bloatware" that Samsung adds to the computer seems much better than what I've experience on previous laptops from a couple other manufacturers.
- LOVE the 13.3" size- big enough to use, small enough to be light & portable
- Much prefer the metal case vs. plastic
- SSD is very fast- for startup, working and getting apps up & rolling
- I'm no audio or videophile, but the picture and audio are definitely better than any of the (admittedly older) laptops I've used

Cons (sorta, depending on use & perspective):
- The speakers on the bottom are a non-issue for me on a desk or with headphones- my daughter indicated some frustration that her in-bed-with-laptop-on-a-pillow position left the sound somewhat muffled
- Past versions of this model have a built in slot for the pen- this one does not. I figure the trade-off was made to allow the overall size to be even smaller and more sleek, so I don't care. (Note: I have used another product that had a magnet attachment- that could have been nice, but I'll get over it.

Having purchased a 55" TV last summer, it didn't take too long to recognize what every reviewer talked about with respect to the limitations of the built-in spreakers. After (as usual) agonizing over the purchase of a sound bar for some time, I eventually remembered that I'm not an audio or video-phile, had pretty basic needs and just plain didn't want to spend a ton of $$. This VIZIO sound bar has been PERFECT. It was plug&play from a set up perspective, works automatically with the VIZIO TV remote and increased our sound & enjoyment level many-fold!!

are these used for talking also or just listing to music for head phones
They do have a microphone and I've been pleased that using them has elicited many fewer questions about whether I'm standing in a well as I take phone calls :)
