Easy to install and get up and running
on July 6, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
So, I unboxed the Canon TR8620a printer this afternoon. The box contains the printer (of course), a power cord, phone cord, and starter ink packs. It doesn’t come with a USB/A to USB/B cable or a LAN cable, so have those ready if you wish to connect the printer that way. I chose to connect it to my Wi-Fi network since I didn’t have an either cable handy and it was a bit late to climb up into the attic to look for one.
I read a few online reviews before the printer arrived and some said the software install was difficult. I have to say it was painless and the software found the printer on my network the very first try. I’ve had a number of other printers that take 2-3 times before they see the printer, so that was a plus. Other reviews I read said the ink leaked and the cartridges were weak, but I found them just as good as other ink cartridges I’ve used and no issues with leaking. Maybe those reviewers need to be a bit easier on the ink and printer since these things are mostly plastic and don’t do well with a strong grip or shove. Anyway, my impressions are that it’s a pretty well-built printer for the price point and I think it will allow me to create some nice photos using my Canon 6D Mark I. I have a few L series lenses and need to start using them again.
This printer has 5 ink cartridges. The 3 color and black that most inkjets do, plus a PGBK (Page Black or Pigmented Black ink). From what I’ve read, the PGBK ink lasts twice as long for page printing and saves the black ink for photo paper.
So, I’ve got the ink in, and I go to plug in the power cord, but it moves. I’m not sure if the ac plug pins on the printer is supposed to be loose, but I can move the plug around about 1/8th in all directions. Maybe it’s designed that way, not sure. I finish the installation and it’s up and running. The large LCD screen is easy to read, even for this old dude. It can copy, scan multiple pages and fax (for a few more months as I’m doing away with my landline). It can print from my cell phone via the Canon Print app or if you have Apple, there’s Air print. The printer does 2-sided printing and can print photos from an SD card. Like most Canon products, the printer includes several proprietary software should you wish to use them.
I like that the unit is nice and small for all the functions it has. It’ll fit nicely and not take up too much real estate in your office or desk. I’m installing this on a fully updated Windows 11 Home PC. Just FYI since it doesn’t list 11 on the box yet. Also having a lan port and USB/B port to allow direct connection is a plus. For the price, I’d recommend this to my friends and family if they need a new or replacement printer for daily use. It’ll do some nice photos, quick copies, or printing letters as needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun for all ages!
on June 28, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
I opened up the Hover-1 Turbo Combo hoverboard with go-kart attachment and found it well packed. It does get a bit messy as the Styrofoam used tends to shed easily, but nothing a quick vacuum at the end couldn’t handle. I took all the pieces out and it’s pretty easy to assemble. The hoverboard is ready to be plugged in and charged with the supplied power pack and what looks like a proprietary plug. The cart has two knobs to attach the seat back and the leg extension, so that’s a no-brainer. Attaching the handles is straightforward, so really the only tough step is attaching the go-kart frame to the hoverboard. The frame uses Velcro straps through each side of each handle, and they wrap around the hoverboard, almost cradling it.
So, the hoverboard finished charging and I tried a few times to attach the frame to it, but loose, tight, or somewhere in between, the handles are very touchy. I found myself not being able to find a spot to just sit for a second. If I tried too hard, one wheel would start beeping, flashing and nothing seemed to stop it except to power it down. Mentioning the power button. I had to press it multiple times to get it to turn off, holding the kart from taking off without a rider. The manual has a drawing of how it should be assembled and I’m sure I’ve done it correctly, but I’ll continue to tinker with it. There must be a learning curve to riding and assembling this thing.
Now after that, what’s good about it. It’s fun. I’m 5’8 and close to 200lbs. and I fit on it no problem. I’m sure this is made for a teen, but even an old dude like me can enjoy it for a bit. The neighbors probably think I’m nuts, but they can go back to their porch swing and sit, lol! Also with the two knobs, the kart is easy to disassemble and store out of the way. Even assembled it doesn’t take up much space in the garage or spare room.
The specs say it takes 4.5 hours to charge and that sounds about right with my experience. It is quick even though the specs say it only does 7 mph. I’m not sure how long a charge lasts as the first charge is still good after my review ride.
My only question or concern is when the hoverboard wheels wear out, is it garbage or can I get new wheels to put on it? That will make a difference on what surfaces I chose to ride it on.
Lastly, I think I’m too old to ride just the hoverboard. I speed (quad) skated for many years in my youth, but with age, balance and hard falls aren’t as easy as they once were. I may give it a go, but those are the reasons I chose the go-kart over the scooter or just the hoverboard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sounded great, but cut out frequently
on June 25, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
I was looking forward to the Sennheiser Sport true wireless in-ear headphones because I’m a fan of most of the old TechTV personalities and if my memory serves me correctly, Patrick Norton and/or Leo Laporte were fans of the brand. So, with that, I had high expectations for these.
I opened the well-designed box and found a pair of in-ear buds inside a nice and compact charging case. Along with those, a lanyard, USB-c charging cable, and an assortment of ear cushions for aware (open) or focus (closed) acoustics. I charged up the earbuds and set out to give them a go. I was met with an update as soon as I opened the Android app. The update took forever, but I got through it. Then it was time to have a listen. As for what’s good. I love the sound with either open or closed adapters. Unlike many other buds, these allow me to crank them up loud enough to enjoy them. The sound is really good when it works and therein lies the rub. I had issues with the earbuds cutting in and out no matter what I used for a source. I used the same android phone and/or Bluetooth adapters I’ve used with other head/earphones and these Sennheiser’s just kept cutting out. It was or is truly disappointing. They sounded like when you walk too far from the source and then hurry back to get within Bluetooth range. I’ll continue to try and see if it’s my source or the earbuds, but for now, I believe that it’s the Sennheiser’s. Maybe they can be fixed with a firmware update?
So, because I find them cutting out frequently (like at least once or twice in a song), I’ll have to say these aren’t something I’d recommend to a friend. There are so many ear/headphones on the market, I’d research others and see what works best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you're in need of a hub/stand, this is a good 1
on June 21, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
I Just opened up the Satechi USB-c monitor stand hub and found the stand and an attached cable with a USB-c plug on the end. Also included was a user’s guide and a bunch of Styrofoam.
I set it up with my Dell laptop and I’m trying to see why I need this. I get if I attach a monitor to my laptop, this makes it convenient to place the laptop underneath and the monitor on the stand, but what else. I have a couple of Thunderbird hubs and they offer more ports than this does, so… First thing I notice is the USB/c port isn’t a power port. The Dell I’m using only has one USB/c port and it uses that for charging. I have to charge my laptop and then pull the charger so I can test out the Satechi stand. If I were using the setup for a long time, that would present a problem not being able to keep the laptop on 110v power. My other con is all my current monitors use HDMI, Display, DVI, or VGA ports. I searched to see if the latest monitors use USB/c, but I didn’t get a clear answer. I saw some monitors with USB/c, but I’m not sure that handles video and audio. Anyway, enough of my negatives, what’s good about the stand.
I like the size, it’s not too big and not too small. Setting my fourteen” Dell on top it just hangs off the back edge. Placing it underneath the stand and it fits nicely. I evaluated a Dell 24” monitor on top and it too fit very well. I tested out all the USB/A ports, the SD and microSD slots and they all worked nicely. The MicroSD slot was a bit hard to lock and remove, but once in, it performed well. And the USB/A slots were able to read an old LEGO USB stick that none of my other PCs would. It’s one of those thin slide-out connectors and they never did work well. But placing it in the Satechi, it was snug and read with no issues.
So, I guess if I wanted to use a monitor with a laptop and I had one that had a separate USB/c or power port, it would be great. I have two desktops running, so in my case, I don’t need a laptop/desktop setup. I can see how some would be on a budget or limited space. If so, this would make a nice little setup when you need it. My opinion would be to use a Thunderbird hub if your machine can use one or just a regular hub.

Great nav unit, could use better voice commands
on June 13, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
I usually use Google Maps on my Android phone for navigation, but it isn’t the easiest to read mounted on the windshield. So, when the opportunity to use a stand-alone navigation GPS with a huge 7” screen came along, I jumped at the chance.
I opened up the box to find the nav unit, a USB/A to USB micro cable, a power outlet/cigarette lighter adapter to USB/A, the suction mount, and a quick start guide. After removing all the parts, I plugged in the USB power cable to a USB 110v power outlet in the house to get the unit up and running. There were a few updates I chose to do after the initial update. I updated about 10-12 state maps that I might drive through. I chose not to update all the maps as it takes time (although TomTom has made that faster with this model) and it takes up storage space. I’ll just download any additional ones if I find the need. I got registered with TomTom and registered the unit and I was ready to try it out in the car.
I had a power cord fed through the dash a few years ago for my phone, but I must have removed it at some point, so I removed the glove box and defroster vent cover and ran the supplied cord. I had an aftermarket spare power outlet below my radio, so that was simple and then left enough cord on the USB micro side to plug in the mount. Here I have a couple of complaints. One, why a micro plug when USBc is so much better? I know I won’t be disconnecting it all the time, but having a plug that goes in, either way, is soooo much easier. Second, why does the angled USB micro plug have to hang down a bit too far and bump the dash? It made getting a solid mount a bit of a pain, at least in my ride. Anyway, with that off my chest, the unit looks great on the windshield and doesn’t block my view very much. I’m not sure how an LEO will feel about it, but hopefully, it won’t be an issue. Now I just plug in the angled USB micro end and I’m ready for the road.
So, once it’s on and I’m rolling, it looks great. The size is nice and easy to read, even for this old dude. The controls are easy to use, and the colors look good. I live in So. California and drive into Los Angeles or up to Las Vegas a few times a year and I can see how this will be a great benefit to me with the moving lane guidance. In LA, a lot of the off-ramps are short, probably too short by today’s standards and if you’re not in the right lane, you might miss your exit or exit too soon and have to surface streets on your way to your destination. That’s not always the easiest thing to do in LA. In Las Vegas, I have just the opposite issue. The offramps can be miles long with a couple of exits per offramp. If you miss the offramp lane, you have to drive a few miles further than the last exit for that ramp and turn around. There is no sneaking into the offramp as they have K-rail separating the freeway lanes and the offramp lanes. It’s a cluster if you ask me, but it works if you plan correctly. With the TomTom Lane guidance, that should make it much easier to get to the hotel. I for one don’t want to exit north of my destination and have to travel back a few miles on Las Vegas Blvd. It’s always a mess, full of transient traffic that doesn’t know where to stop or start, and if there’s a hockey game or event at the stadium…forget it.
One last complaint is the voice recognition feature. I tried several commands, and it wouldn’t accept them. The ones listed are very generic and don’t fit my needs. I thought it would allow me to just ask, where’s the nearest McD’s, but it didn’t. It would go back to show me what commands I could use and then after a few tries, the feature would just shut off and I’d have to try again. Entering McDonald’s into the search bar shows several locations and I can click on any of them to give me directions. Being able to do that with my voice is what I expected a nav unit to do. Maybe I need to figure out a setting. So that was a huge letdown for me.
Finally, I like that the maps are updated and available for no charge. Using the built-in Wi-Fi to download maps and updates makes using the Discover Go much more enjoyable. I hope to be able to take it on a long drive to Las Vegas or LA soon. Well maybe if gas prices go down…a lot.

Looks great and works pretty good too!

Got the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced and opened up the box. It includes the thermostat unit, wiring backplate, and to my surprise, a nice large plate to cover any holes, paint, or defects from the old thermostat. I was patching two holes when I went back to the box to retrieve the wiring backplate when I found the welcome surprise. No need to make the holes look pretty. The larger plate looks nice and took care of the problem (photo shows the unit installed with the finished plate). The box also includes a power extender kit in case your current setup doesn’t have a ‘C’ wire. Lucky for me, I had the extra wire taped off in the old one.
I started getting ready for this about a week ago. Ecobee has a nice compatibility checker online and I entered all my current wires. It suggested I contact them, so I emailed them, and it took a couple of days to hear back. They apologized for what they considered a late reply, but I thought it wasn’t an issue, especially with so many companies understaffed. They had me email a few photos of the old wiring in the thermostat and those same wires connected to the HVAC unit. With that information, the associate was able to let me know it would work and what wires to connect where. Today, when I went to install the new Ecobee unit, the associate said to hook red to RC, but the Ecobee doesn’t have an RC terminal. I jumped online and dialed the easy-to-find phone number for assistance. They were open until 11 pm EST, so woohoo for me. The tech I spoke with said to hook it to R and that my old one had a jumper from RC to R and that would work. Within 10 minutes I was plugged back in and had a display. I failed to mention, that make sure to kill the power either at the main (Ecobee suggested) or by unplugging the HVAC unit, which is what I did. I have a 3-amp inline fuse to protect my transformer, just to keep my wallet safe. So, with it powered up and displayed, there are several entries needed to get it up and running as well as registered. The service tech I spoke with offered to stay on the line and walk me through the setup but since I still needed to connect the wires, plug it in, pick up the tools and vacuum the carpet, I said I was good. Still great to have the offer of assistance.

I then opened up the Ecobee Android app and went to link it to Google Home. I clicked the button in the app, and it took me to a page that said, download the home app. I already have the home app, so I opened that. Right above all the different room menus, a button appeared stating, “link/connect to Ecobee.” I clicked that and entered by Ecobee login, and it was done. I could see the connected app at the bottom of my Google Home app, and it showed the current indoor temperature as well as the off position. Clicking the off button, I saw the cool, warm, and auto settings available.
I got to say I thought this would be a pain in the rear, but with the online compatibility checker, the two associates I dealt with, the parts included to mount the unit, and the easy-to-use functions, I’m more than happy with the Ecobee thermostat. I’d have no issues recommending it to a friend or anyone looking to upgrade their old unit. Just use those tools and contact Ecobee to make sure you know it will work with your system and what wires go where. Lastly, take a couple of photos when you expose the thermostat wires before you swap out units. That might save you from a costly mistake.
If there is one negative I’ve found so far, it’s that the clock displays when you aren’t in front of the thermostat, but when it senses you, it switches to setting mode and the clock disappears. I’ve contacted Ecobee today and hopefully there’s a setting I can change. If not, they really need to update the firmware, so the clock is displayed when a user (I) wants to view it. As it is now, I have to sneak up on it from an angle.

The Swann Professional 6K NVR Security System has crime-fighting features other security systems dream about, with deterrence and prevention at its core. The patented SwannForce technology responds when the cameras sense heat and motion to trigger red and blue flashing lights, spotlights, sirens, mobile alerts and more. This professional wired surveillance system features 6K or 12MP Mega HD video which has 50% more pixels than 4K from a 6mm camera lens showing a 65° field of view. This helps capture details like never before, and this evidence can make a huge impact when dealing with criminal activity. Plus there’s color night vision, two-way talk, Face Recognition, Person & Vehicle Detection, free recording and more. With PoE (Power over Ethernet) connections; power, video and audio run through a single Ethernet cable per camera, making installation simple. You’ll enjoy maximum reliability without the concerns of Wi-Fi connection drop interruptions, wireless static or bandwidth limitations. The cameras are sturdy yet lightweight, and they’re built for use indoors and outdoors. They can be the right mix of an overt security presence and discretion where required. Face Recognition can be set up simply to identify familiar faces and send personalized alerts when they are detected. Be notified when your child arrives home from school, when your cleaner has left for the day, when your employee has opened your business. There’s also Person & Vehicle Detection, and more Smart Video Analytics for accurate alerts. Everything is viewable on the Swann Security mobile app! View live video, receive alerts, turn the lights and siren on and off, change motion and heat sensitivity and more. You can also ‘speak to see’ with Alexa and Hey Google. Record video to the large hard drive and save footage to your Dropbox in the cloud. That’s the Professional 6K NVR Security System – Swann’s most advanced surveillance and crime prevention system.

Great security kit, takes some skill to install
on May 28, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
So, I set out to install the Swann ProEnforcer 8-Channel, 4-Camera Indoor/Outdoor wired 12MP Ultra HD NVR system. Luckily, I’m pretty handy and do most if not all of my home installs and repairs myself, except for HVAC. For that, I know to call my guy. If you’re not handy with attic spaces, drilling through your eaves, and fishing wire through tight access areas, Swann includes a card for installation referrals. I’d highly suggest you call them or find a qualified installer in your area if you cannot do all these tasks. Attics aren’t a great place to learn home installations. Anyway, that said, the kit is complete with the receiver ready to record with a 2TB hard drive, four-camera cables with LAN connections, 4 HD cameras, installation instructions, window stickers, HDMI cable, and power brick. Everything you need except tools is included.
First off, I drove over to my local cheap tool store and picked up a thirty-three’ fiberglass fish (wire running kit) so I could fish the cable from the eave to my attached garage attic space. Mounting all four cameras, running the power cables to the garage attic, drilling access holes, and stapling the cables to the roof rafters was a few hours jobs, but that was it for the first day. Getting the cables through the drywall into the garage where my monitor and power were located was it for that day. I sealed up the drywall hole with spackle and caulk and left it for another day. The second day was a piece of cake. Just took my time powering up the receiver, plugging in the cameras, connecting it to the tv, and climbing a ladder to adjust the cameras. Although it was a two-day job for me, it was only a few hours each day and if you wanted to or if you had two people, you could get it done in an afternoon/evening.
So, in my garage, I have a 46-inch, 1080p tv. As soon as I connected it to the receiver, it asked if I wanted to set the resolution to that. I have a 4k, 60 inch in the house, but as with all of these security camera kits, I’ve reviewed, the receiver still makes too much noise to have in the entertainment center. Even behind a door or glass, I can hear the hum all the time. So, off to the garage, it is for me. I will say the Swann unit is about the quietest I’ve heard as others I’ve reviewed needed a slight modification with a Dremel tool to cut down the noise…even in the garage. With that, even at 1080p, the 4k signal coming in from the cameras look great on the monitor. I have a wonderful view around my home and of the public areas around it. I live on a corner lot, so I get some street and sidewalk views as well as my mom and her neighbors that live on the main street around the corner from me. To say I am happy with the kit is an understatement. The peace of mind it gives me is great. I can use the Android app to check on my home anytime/anywhere and what a gift that is when you have OCD. Just being able to check the doors and make sure they are shut. Having the Swann kit as an addition to all my other electronic security devices at a finger’s touch is truly amazing. If there is any con/downside to the kit, it’s the installation. It just takes time and a bit of effort. Once it’s installed and up and running, I don’t have any complaints. So, if you are handy and have a day or two to get it done or if you have the means to pay for it to be done for you, once it’s in, I think it’s all good from there. Should anything go down later, the NVR cable is run and you can always replace a camera or the receiver. Wires seldom go bad unless you have a rodent problem. Leave some slack inside the attic and if the LAN plug weathers, you can cut it off and attach a new one with the excess cable, if you have that ability (it’s not hard, just more tools).
I’d recommend this to a friend or to anyone looking to feel more secure about their home and or property around them. Having the cameras visible alone will make people think twice about their actions around your place. If they came to your home specifically, they’re going to do what they came to do, and no security system is going to stop them. This will however keep the majority of potential problems away from your place and have them move on down the road.
I would recommend this to a friend!

User friendly install and a pretty good system
on May 25, 2022
Posted by: RandallFlagg
I spent the last ½ hour installing the Motorola MH7603 Wi-Fi System (3 pack) and it wasn’t great, but it wasn’t as bad as other systems I’ve installed.
So, I downloaded the Android app, and the first choice is to set up a new network or join an existing one. Well, I want to join my existing one as a bridge, but that’s not going to work. First off, it won’t let me join my existing network because it’s not a Moto network or something to that effect. So, I set out to start a new network and know I won’t be able to bridge the Moto to my current network. No biggie, just another password to remember. From there, the MotoSync app walks you step by step. I zap the QR code on the first unit, connect it to my router and plug it in. The app says to unplug all other routers and the modem, but in my case, that didn’t happen just for your info. The light blinked white for a while and the app showed a progress bar, then it turned to a flashing blue and finally a solid white. Proceeding through the app, it asks if you want to add another unit, I do so I repeat the steps with the QR code for the second and third units. As expected, there’s a firmware update and I hit it between the 2nd and 3rd install. It didn’t matter. After the firmware update, I was asked if I wanted to add another unit, I did and then it said to do a firmware update again. I wondered if it would take forever like the first, but it only needed to update the last unit and took half the time. Once that was done, it asked if I wanted to use the default name and password…ah no, or if I wanted to create my own…ah yeah! So, I did so on the next screen, and it connected and finished. Now what? I have all three units next to each other and need to move them. No instructions so I unplug the two wireless ones and off we go. I put one in the garage (it shares a wall with my office) and the other in the den, up high on the entertainment unit. I go back to the garage to find the app red and rebooting. I wait quite a bit, but I believe it’s because the wired unit has to go solid white, then the other two can reboot. After that bit, the app when blue and said the system was terrific. So, all is well, but of course, I need to see a few things.
I wanted to see the WPA2 security settings, but I can’t find them on the app. I go to my Windows 11 machine and try to connect to the network, and it does in fact ask for a password. I try an incorrect one and none and it doesn’t connect, so that’s good. I enter the correct password and it connects. I still would feel better if I saw somewhere in the app the security status. For now, the system has been up for about 15 minutes and looks to be working (as it states…terrific). My only complaints are not being able to use it in bridge mode (maybe my fault), the need for a firmware update out of the box (I guess doing a firmware update is better than a manufacturer that doesn’t offer one when it’s needed) and some gaps in the installation instructions. Overall, it’s a really good system and should be easy enough for most users to install themselves or with a bit of help from a knowledgeable person. I’d gladly recommend this kit to my friends.

The Shark Air Purifier uses Pure Air Microforce to deliver fast, powerful, and quiet purification in a compact size. Clean Sense IQ senses air quality & auto-adjusts to improve air quality and report results in real time. A HEPA filter captures 99.98% of airborne particles like allergens*, dust, and dander (based on IEST-RP-CC007.3, 0.1-0.2 microns). Cleans up to 500 square feet.

Great compact air purifier, takes up little space

I have a few air purifier units around the house and wanted one for my office. It’s one hundred square feet or eight hundred cubic feet. The unit states it will cover up to 500 sq. ft., so I figured this would be perfect for the space and the adjacent hallway.
I unboxed the unit and all I needed to do was unscrew the bottom cap, unbag the filter, reinstall it and plug the unit in. Turning the unit on, I was surprised how quiet it is in high-speed mode. Most of my other units are really quiet in every mode except full speed. It seems at full speed, manufacturers decide you’ll live with the noise, but not the Shark unit. The noise is there, but it's easy to live with. I also like the small size of the unit. It takes up little floor space and is easy to move around the house should I need it elsewhere.
As I said, I use a few HEPA filter units and a DustMagnet throughout the house. I live in the desert of Southern California and have allergy issues. My doctors say I should move, but just about everywhere has grass, dogs, cats, evergreens, and all my other allergies, so these purifiers are a lifesaver. I like the easy-to-see air quality colors on the unit. They are a large ring, about two ½” around the display making it visible from across the room. This one was blue out of the gate and has been 98-100% since. It also has the Clean Sense IQ to adjust fan speed as needed, but I prefer to just turn it on when I’m in the room and it does an excellent job. Having the auto-adjust is a nice feature should I want to run it overnight while I sleep.
I’d recommend this to a friend or anyone with allergy issues. With its HEPA filter’s ability to capture micro-sized particles and sensors that measure particle sizes PM1, PM2.5, and PM10, allergy sufferers like me can rest easy knowing our living spaces are less likely to make us sick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They work, but could be better

How Often Used:Less than once a week
The Skullcandy Grind True Wireless in earbuds are okay. I really wanted to like them, but that didn’t play out. I opened up the box and found a USB/C to flat USB/A charging cable, different sized ear gels, a charging case, and the user's guide. So, what’s good, what not so good and why do I just like them, not love them.
The charging case is nice. It’s well built and designed. The fact that it uses USB/C is a plus. I can’t believe other manufacturers are still using micro-USB ports. The pods are good too and fit okay. There is plenty of information on the user's guide and the box.
What don’t I like? No matter what source I was connected to, I kept getting a skip, hiccup, or a very short loss of sound. It happened more than once, and I tried several different sources to see if it was just the source. I tried my Android phone, Windows machine, and Onkyo Receiver. Oh, and this Bluetooth adapter I bought online to work with my Arcam receiver. They all showed symptoms of the skip. Also, I know many manufacturers limit the volume of their earbuds, but these just didn’t get loud enough for me. I tried the voice control, but it didn’t seem to work. By the time I’d get music playing the voice control would turn off and announce it in the buds. I tried to turn it back on, but my phone and the app said it was on. Toggling off and on didn’t do anything except make the sound skip. One time it sounded like it was stuttering the video and I had to shut down everything and start over. Lastly, the very short charging cable included with the earbuds has that weird flat USB/A connector. Instead of it being a closed rectangular box that inserts into a USB port, it’s flat and tends to be a bit sloppy in a port. I’ve used a number of these types and they all seem to get loose with repetitive use.
I wouldn’t recommend these to a friend because there are just too many other earbuds out there that work and sound better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does this wallet support Cardano? $ADA

On Live Ledger, it does list Cardano ADA (ADA) version 2.4.1 It doesn't say Ledger Live Supported like some of the other Apps do. It's also 88kb which will eat up most of the 128k on the stick. Hope that helps.

Does the Nano S Crypto Hardware Wallet support Dogecoin?

I fired up Ledger Live on my PC and the Nano S has limited space. I have Bitcoin and Ethereum loaded. I removed another one that was 44kb and that allowed me to add Doge which is only 2kb. Ledger Live added it to the Nano S and states that it is Ledger Live supported. I hope that helps!

what does the medium size mean? for heights 5'4 - 6'3?

I have the medium and if I had it to do over I'd get the small. I wear a 36w 30l pair of Wranglers. The medium leggings come all the way up my leg and I leave the zipper unzipped about 1 inch at the top, by my crotch. The smalls would probably only come up to the top of my thighs. I'm 5'8" so I'm right in the middle of the medium and at the short end of the inseam. Most things I wear are medium except for tshirts or gloves which are large or xlarge. I hope that helps you figure out the size you wish to get.

The product title and specifications say the connection type is usb-c, and yet under the product description it says lightning connection. Which is it? If it is usb-c, I’d it compatible with iPad Air 4, and is it made for iPad certified?

The set I have are USB-c not lightning. The box says it works with Android, I don't see an Apple logo anywhere on the package.

Are there options for the rubber ear tips (small, med, large) in the package?

I was able to use the preinstalled set that appear to be medium and the 4 extra ones look like small and large.
