Entertaining but lacking

It is obvious they are trying to turn this into a profitable franchise, but when you give priority to visuals instead of plot, you end up with movies like "Alice in Wonderland" and it's sequel, or any of the recent "Transformers" movies, pretty to look at, but completely forgettable, and doing that to a character like King Kong feels just wrong.

Animal House is full of characters that are both so vague that you know someone like them, and yet complex enough that you'll never know anyone like them at all. You may know a crazy guy like D-Day, but you'll never know anyone who can drive a motorcycle up a flight up stairs and make funny noises at you. You may know a guy like Bluto, but you've never seen anyone rip a guitar out of someone's hands and smash it to the ground in a horribly violent manner. And you may have know/have known an eccentric professor, but none that would ever think of even letting you over to his house, much less smoke pot with you. It is simply a movie that makes you think, "why couldn't college be that way for me?" I would love to chuck golf balls at the ROTC, or sneak a horse into an office building.

Plays on nicely from the first movie. Same premise, but even more action and a higher body count than Chapter 1.Less story and more action in this film but action fans will not be disappointed. Multiple martial art fighting styles shown. Story line is predictable but what can you expect from the ultimate vendetta plot. Looking forward to the next installment. Bring On Chapter 3!

Great Action Movie. Touching Paul Walker Tribute

This movie is jammed packed with action, from start to finish. The stunts, as always, are just out of this world. No, granted, you wouldn't be able to run up the side of a falling bus as it slides down the side of a cliff. But I bet you as well as I wish you could right? And no we couldn't dodge that amount of high spec weaponry and drive cars like the way they do in this film. But again, I bet you as well as I wish you could right?
What is with all the negativity? You want to be entertained, not sit there yawning while scratching your backside drifting off, dribbling into your own lap. 'Get real' How boring would it be to sit and watch things that happen is every day life? We have the soaps for all that! I dread to think what your review would be on the Terminator franchise. (LOL)
For me, the acting was again superb by all of the main cast. And Kurt Russell is just as good as ever in my opinion. All the stunts were very well executed, the fight scene choreography was also very thrilling to watch. All in all I think it's a very entertaining, and in parts touching film.
The tribute at the end was a very fitting, and moving scene for Paul, who was a fine actor. Not only in this franchise but also in any other film I have seen him in. He was a very big talent and will be greatly missed in the industry. I don't mind admitting the bit of leakage I had from my eyelids viewing the end. RIP Paul Walker.
