The critics all loved it, and with good reason. It's intelligent and entertaining. Director Ridley Scott knows what he's doing, and unlike some directors who have no interest in 3D, he likes 3D and you can see it on the screen... it looks great! I believe it was a conversion, rather than a movie shot in native 3D, but it's a quality conversion. Definitely recommended.

I read reviews and I went to stores and examined both the Apple case and the Logitech case for the iPad Pro, and I like the Logitech better. It does weigh a bit more, but it provides more complete protection (wraps all the way around the iPad) and the keyboard lights up. The material has a nice feel to it.
It took a little getting used to popping the iPad in and out of the case, but I don't do that much anyway. Also it's not that easy to turn on the power button through the case, but that's better than having it turn on unintentionally when you put it in your bag or something. I'm really glad I got this thing.

Worth it for Doctor Who and 3D fans

For only $9.99 you can't go too wrong if you like Doctor Who and have a 3D TV to watch this on. The 3D is all post-production 2D to 3D video conversion. As a general rule converted 3D isn't as strong as native 3D, so don't set your expectations too high, but I always prefer 3D to 2D even if it is converted. The story itself felt like pretty standard Doctor Who fare, but I don't get the cable station that currently airs the Doctor Who TV show, and I love 3D so this was a fun way to catch up with the doings of the newest Doctor.

I had seen this movie before in a theater, but I actually enjoyed it more on the DVD. The 3D looked better, and the story held up well.
I love comics and time travel stories, so this was a lot of fun. The price has come down since it first came out, so it's quite a bargain.
There is some bonus material, but unfortunately it seems there is no commentary. Still, good story + good acting + good directing + good special effects = five star rating!
Recently an alternate cut of the movie ("Rogue-Cut" Blu-Ray) was released, with new material and a commentary, but I don't really care much about that. I'd rather see the original theatrical cut in 3D.

The basic premise is that they're showing you things that are too slow, too fast or too small for you to see in real life, by speeding them up, slowing them down, zooming in, or recreating them with computer graphics. The molecules they show you towards the end, for example, are too small to capture in high definition with any camera, but they sure do look cool on a high def 3D TV screen! There are sights we've all seen before, like time lapse photography of a flower blooming, but it's pretty awesome seeing it in high def 3D.

Little Animals Survive in 3D!

I quite liked this one. It follows two stories (non-fiction documentary, that is), that of a chipmunk and a scorpion mouse, cutting back and forth from one story to the other. If you've ever read the "Mouse Guard" graphic novels, parts of this may remind you a bit of that, although these animals don't talk or wear clothing. The photography is pretty amazing the and the 3D quality very good. As an added bonus the "making of" feature is also in 3D, which I really appreciated!

This DVD is not really great, but it's OK. The quality of the 3D is decent. I've only watched it once, though I intend to watch it again eventually. I would have liked to see more dinosaurs rather than paleontologists and diagrams. It's educational but could've been more fun. You might want to go for it if the price is low enough. Otherwise save your money and wait for "Jurassic World 3D" to come out on DVD!
