Good movie with better than usual effects

My wife and kids saw this movie I the theater and said it was a must buy for the home. Once out, I did follow their recommendation. It was a good movie with a strong performance from Angelina Jolie, but there were a few parts in the story and plot that could be better. However, that aside, visually it is a great movie to view and show off your HD system with vivid colors on occasion to contrasting blacks and shadows. Sound is strong too with a nice envelopment from the audio track; there is not any consistent LFE, just a few dips here and there for those that are expecting lots of "boom".
Overall the movie a good and a nice treat from the norm of Hollywood while still pleasing to eyes and ears.

I purchased this keyboard as a replacement for the stock keyboard with my desktop after it failed without warning. Since I have gravitated towards my laptop and tablet more than my desktop I did not want to spend much on a keyboard yet did not want to lose any of the quick one button functions. This keyboard was the right price with almost identical one button functions. Also, it may be personal bias, but I have noticed the keys themselves seem to have a softer feel when depressed and are more responsive than the stock keyboard it replaced.
Bottom line is it does what it should well with little financial investment.

My wife is a huge fan of this book series and I must say I have been thoroughly pleased with both the first and now second of the films. Usually when Hollywood adapts a book to the big screen they butcher it in order to make a fast buck, however, my wife has stated numerous times how the films have been faithful to the books as best as she has ever seen. Having not read the books I can say from a film only perspective that the plot and setting of the films truly grip you from the beginning. One can relate to the plight of the districts while being amazed at the carnage of the games themselves as portrayed by the cast and the filmmakers eye. Subtle musical cues and extravagant color schemes bring this tale to life and if HD is your thing, this film will not disappoint. I find, from a movie aspect, very little to be negative on other than the fact that when the film is over, you long for more.

This is a fun, honest movie that the whole family will enjoy. The plot starts as a cliché but morphs into more. There is plenty for the kids as well as the older, "young at heart". The sound is amazing and several scenes leave you in awe of the scope of animation and design. I bought this after several friends recommended it and while my young daughter loved it, I found it as enjoyable if not more so than she did.

A fun entertainment for a couple of hours

I knew going in that this film would not be an Academy Award winner but I was not looking to be "wowed" by the costumes, cinematography, directing, etc. I just wanted to be entertained with a fun film that does not pretend to be anything else. This movie has that in spades.
As a kid I LOVED the Godzilla movies, especially the tongue-in-cheek ones, and this movie plays homage to them as well as all the good old giant monster movies of a by gone era in Hollywood. The special effects are very good and if you are an HT enthusiast, the "mid bass" punch is wonderful.
Again, this will not garner critical acclaim but if you are wanting sit back, eat your pop corn, have fun, and forget about the outside world for a bit then this is the movie for you.

I enjoyed the first Star Trek reboot by JJ Abrams a few years ago. I was eagerly anticipating the sequel but as most do with sequels, I had reservations that this one may not live up to the high bar previously set. Fortunately, I was wrong. This movie does the original series and movies a great homage while not being simply a remake. It is refreshing to see this franchise back on the big screen with a talented cast and crew of film makers that want quality as much as fans yet still want to make a fun and entertaining movie. It is such a great movie that my new teenager appreciates it for the sci-fi aspect, action, and story telling.

These are a great quality OEM replacement heads for my Sonicare tooth brush. The 3 pack rivals Wal-Mart, etc in price and seems to have a better "build" quality. I have purchased this "identical" product from Wal-Mart to save a few bucks but found the bristles just seemed to give out quicker. I brush with a bit more pressure than what one would use but in taking that into account, the heads that I have purchased from Best Buy just seem to have better durability.
