Easy to use, ergonomic controller

Purchased a few extra Xbox One controllers to ensure plenty for the family. They are well made and pretty straight forward to use. They feel good in ones hands as well. I am not familiar with previous incarnations of this controller, but it feels more comfortable to hold than the Wii remotes, even considering the obvious use differences. I can say they feel better then the Playstation controllers which I have never been fond of. I cannot, however, comment on the speed or accuracy of this controller over the Playstation one. For me, it does what it should very well.

An easy to set up accessory, the Kinect sensor adds a fun dimension to the games that are compatible with it. The voice activation feature is nice but not as necessary as one might think. The down side is the limited, big name games that utilize such an accessory. Hopefully Microsoft remedies that soon.

Arguably the best of 2015

Saw this movie in the theater and loved it. A coworker enjoyed the book immensely and hoped the movie would be just as good. He was enthusiastic at how well done the movie was. The Blu-ray did an excellent job of maintaining the impressive sound of the theatrical release. The video is great and again, the sound on a more capable system, is amazing. I would not call this movie a comedy as the Oscar committee did but the plot, acting, special effects and cinematography are fantastic. I was not disappointed by this movie at the theater or at home.

Surprise movie with good effects and unique story

I did not really know about or have a chance to see this movie in theaters due to the limited marketing by Disney. Once out on Blu-ray I bought it because George Clooney normally does not attach his name to typical Hollywood fodder. This movie is no exception. The story, for the most part, is original in its approach and perspective. It moves along quickly with humor and some surprise action. Characters are fleshed out enough without being heavy-handed in the story to make it more of a drama. Visuals are very good and precise for those with large screens. The sound quality is amazing and immersive, with good dynamics and drive to keep pace with several of the action scenes. Someone with a better quality sound system for their HT will enjoy the sound presentation.
The very end gets a tiny bit predictable, and by the end I mean the last five minutes or so, but right up till then you do feel vested in characters and the story. This is a good family film and virtually safe for any age.

Amazing action and stunning visuals

Saw this movie in the theater and really enjoyed it. The story is quick and easy to dive into with virtually non-stop action. Camera angels were amazing and the resolution was crisp, detailed, and exacting. The only issue when seeing it in the theater was the "hot" recorded soundtrack that on occasion was overbearing and washed out the dialogue. The video has been nicely transferred and will pop on a quality HDTV. Thankfully the audio has been adjusted nicely without sacrificing the director's intent to bring across the "raw horsepower" of the vehicles or the impacts of gunfire and crashes. This movie will be a wonderful addition to any film collection, bringing out the best in audio and video of your HT system.

Fun, teen friendly family film

This movie was a purchase after seeing via Netflix. I enjoyed the plot and found several of the key points on our current society spot on. The movie is not beginning to end action but the action sequences present not only entertain but drive the film. Acoustically the film is impressive with wide dynamics that will sound well on a mid level system. Visually the movie does well. There is lots of subtly in this movie but also enough that is obvious one will not scratch their head. While it is teen friendly (being based on a book series I believe) those under 11 or so would probably be lost in the plot and/or some parents may find some parts not as appropriate.

My wife purchased this storing bin for her K cups as an alternative to the product boxes and our pantry area which is not as conveniently close the to coffee maker as my wife would like. It is simple in design and functionality and works excellent to hold her K cup packs while being sturdy enough to place the Keurig on top. The partitions in the bin also make it easier to keep various flavors together but separate from different blends.

Great CD with good driving beats

I purchased this Mark Ronson CD for the song "Uptown Funk" and was pleasantly surprised that the rest of the CD, with the exception of song 3 which is very explicit and unneeded, were just as driving, rhythmic and ear catching as "Uptown Funk". Vocals are easily understood and well recorded and the balance of instrumentation is exact and not bass heavy. It is a nice homage to the funk era with a more modern approach and a varied music style.

Better than the standard heads

I purchased these heads for my Sonicare toothbrush in hopes of finding a slightly more stiff and more durable brush head. These heads were exactly what I was looking for. The bristles also seem to hold their shape better and feel more comfortable against my teeth and gums. Again, I prefer a medium brush as opposed to the softer standard brush heads and these do make my mouth feel more clean after the brushing cycle has ended.
