A short lived TV series produced by Roy Rogers company. Stories were simplistic as were most of the westerns during that period. Hard to find title. Unfortunately the quality is very bad. Only for die hard tv western buffs.

This has to be one of Spielberg's finest movies. A great story, well written, well acted and well executed. Tom Hanks has done some wonderful things in the past and he has had a few clinkers too. This ranks as one of his best. Mark Rylance is superb as the captured Russian agent. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. It is thrilling and captivating from beginning to end.

"Old Yeller" was a nice family movie back in the day and it still is heart warming. "Savage Sam", which is the sequel to "Old Yeller", is slow, boring and not worth the watch.
