Conan the Barbarian is written to be a little more aligned with the original pulp version of Conan as an adventurer. However it is tough not to compare this movie against the Arnold Schwazenegger version, which are rather compelling. The filmaking here is good but I just didn;t connect with the new Conan as well as the earlier version.

This is a great movie that is well cast and well acted. The filmaking is really top notch as well. Much of the principle photography is done close up with extreme wide angle lenses so you almost fell like your part of the scene.

I found this movie to be really good. The story is really compelling and the acting is superior, as is the filmaking. It didn't really make waves in the theater, but I think it is worth picking up from the Best Buy!

Deadpool: The superhero genre movies seem a bit bloated these days and just when you're getting tired of the genre something like this comes along. At first I didn't want to like this movie and avoided it in the theater (probably due to the Green Latern production which just wasn't very cohesive).
However, Deadpool really is a good vehicle for Ryan Reynolds wise-cracking acting style and actually breathes some life back into the superhero genre. The only problem is were probably going start seeing a lot more of these type characters.
Note to Hollywood: Don't kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs OK!!!

Did anyone opt to purchase the protection plan?
I didn't. I usually never do as the products usually have issues fairly early on in my experience (which would then be cover by the original warranty) and therefore many products will simply outlast the extended warranty period. However, another way to look at it is that you are simply buying piece of mind and for some folks it's well worth it.

Why is my fridge so noisy?
I have had my new fridge a week, but I've been on a trip most of the time. Now that I'm back, I've noticed how noisy it is -- unusually so. I can hear it all over my house and it's driving me batty. Is there anything that can be done... for example, insulation around the compressor or whatever, or pads on the bottom?
A new frige should be really quite and not heard from another room. Compare the noise from your frige and a neighbors to gage any real difference as a reference before calling for service (but it should be pretty quite).

Enters savings NYSEG rebate - getting rid of old refriferator . How does this work ? Does NYSEG need to come out to assure the old refriferator is still in working order ? Jodi
Normally it should be running so that the recycling company can verify that it's working (it just needs to get cold). Once they verify, you should be given a form that is used to submit for the rebate.
