Scott Eastwood, son of Clint, is a great leading male actor, and Britt Robertson is a great leading female. Both of the actors are in their 20s and share a chemistry with each other which is far more appealing than most romantic movies involving young couples. In this movie, she wants to go into art, particularly contemporary art, and he has a career as a rodeo performer. They fall in love slowly enough that it’s believable and meaningful, rather than all of a sudden like so many movies do.I really enjoy the way their relationship develops. They become influenced by the life story of a man played by Alan Alda, who learned the meaning of sacrificial love and imparts this experiential wisdom to them. The parallels between Alda’s character’s story and their story give the movie a meaningful connection between past and present. It is also a rewarding experience when they are both willing to give up selfishness for each other in the . Well-written, well-edited, well-acted, and stimulating, this movie is enjoyable.

This movie is just plain fun. It's obvious the entire cast is having a blast, and their enthusiasm is infectious. Sure there are some points of bad camera work and Brosnan's voice isn't classically trained, but who cares? He sings well enough, and his singing really grows on you through the movie.
It's a fun movie with catchy songs, a fun story, and a happy ending. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Don’t call it a chick flick; it’s the ride-or-die movie to end all ride-or-die movies. Ridley Scott directed Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis in the critically acclaimed story about two friends on the road and on the run. In search of adventure they discovered crime, love and that all-too-real freedom that comes at a great cost. With knockout performances from an entire cast (which included Harvey Keitel, Michael Madsen, and baby boy Brad Pitt), Thelma & Louise is that brilliant pop-culture cult-classic that simply cannot be imitated.

“I’m not sure it’s a good idea to be talking to your cat.” Jerry (Reynolds) is a likable, quiet and polite worker. He stays to himself and is pretty much limited to conversations with his pets. When he develops a crush on Fiona (Arterton) he is excited that she agrees to meet him for a date. When she doesn’t show Jerry’s true personality comes out. This is a difficult movie to recommend. I liked it and laughed some but it is very , very dark. Most comedies about murder and death are dark but Ryan Reynolds is such a likable guy that it really adds to the experience and tone of the movie. If you are not easily offended or disturbed this is one to watch, if you are I would avoid this. Overall, a funny but very dark comedy that I thought was funny, but it isn’t for everyone. I give it a B-.

I did not think that this would be a movie that someone my age and gender (over 35 and female) would like. However, upon the recommendation of my college-age daughter, I watched this with my husband. We were very surprised that we laughed out loud so many times. Kevin Hart was great and loved Josh Gad. Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was good as expected. I recommend this highly. Very enjoyable, not that much cussing and had a good heart warming storyline

I wasn't sure if I wanted to see this movie because I had read the Trilogy and could not imagine how it would be possible to make the story into a movie without it being rated "X". My other thought was how they would fit the Trilogy beginning to end in a 1 1/2 to 2 hour movie. Well, as it turns out, the movie ended at a point where I can only assume will result in the making of Part II. The nudity was mild and the subject matter was assumed, not actually showing what was clearly defined in the books. As for the actors themselves, I think the character of Christian Grey needed a stronger, more chiseled, personality and look, the Pierce Brosnan of 007 look. Dakota Johnson was okay, maybe not as beautiful as the book portrayed, but she did look like an innocent before Mr. Grey got his hands on her ;-) The movie ends leaving you wondering what happens next. Not a bad movie but it is missing one thing...Excitement.

Statham plays the role of Nick Wild, a bodyguard for hire in the high stakes town of Las Vegas. After being referred by a friend, Cyrus Kinnick (Michael Angarano) seeks out Nick to guard him during his stay at the Casinos. While tending to business, Nick's friend, Holly (Dominik García-Lorido) gets in an altercation with some members of a mob crew and seeks Nick's help to get her revenge.
Sounds like it's got all the making for an action packed thrill ride, right?! Well, yes AND no. The action is DEFINITELY there, but it's only there for a total of about 10-15 minutes of screen time. I will say, the scenes are REALLY well done! I really enjoyed the way they slow down during the fighting (you'll see what I mean). The rest of the movie is simply Statham's character fantasizing about getting away from Vegas for good and/or chatting it up with the locals he's become friends with over the years.

If you like extremely slow moving movies with unconvincing character acting, then this is the movie for you. Ryan Reynolds is fine as the caring father who never lost the hope that his daughter was alive. But everyone else was marginal at best. If you've got 2 hours to kill that you don't want back, watch this movie!
Martin Lawrence dispenses unique motherly advice and much more while assuming the identity of the sharp-tongued "Big Momma" in this collection featuring all three films from the Big Momma franchise.

I thought the original movie was the best of the three but the other 2 movies had it high points too . A ok triple feature when you want to watch something funny!
