Just watch it. It is spellbinding how real the actors make it. I'm surprised anyone came out alive, from the oil rig.
It does sows what corporate greed does. It can kill.
Kurt and Mark are really, really good. And I loved how human everyone was. Down to the crews fooling around not sensing danger building. So very realistic. Enjoyed it completely.

Great movie, inspiring, sobering and enlightening. The battle scenes were horrific, the story was endearing and heart-breaking. The message of conviction was strong. The fact that this is a true story is amazing. This guy was a true hero among men but more importantly was a true servant of the God he loved and served first.

Totally mindless entertainment. There's nothing special here, just over an hour and a half of escapism. Yeah, the franchise misses Jason Statham.One thing that saves this movie, there is really good chemistry between Ed Skrein (the transporter) and Ray Stevenson (his father).
Yeah there were moments that were a bit stupid. And the women screaming later in the film was a lot out of character (this is a group of women that did things that would make most people scream, and yet they were stoic). Sometimes it is just worth sitting back and letting s film do what it will do and don't think too much.
The scenes in the South of France were beautiful.

This is absolutely one of the best films I've ever seen. We almost missed it. Somebody was asleep at the studio when "An Unfinished Life" was released with so little fanfare. The acting is superb, the scenery breath-taking. The story packs a powerful message of forgiveness and redemption. We laughed, we cried. This film has it all. "Brokeback Mountain" pales by comparison. I'm predicting "An Unfinished Life" is going to become a classic.

This movie is reminiscent of classic comedies of the 60's. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have amazing chemistry, but so many funny moments you will laugh out loud. Goldie learning how to be a homemaker is priceless, and she does the physical comedy so well. This movie flows continuously from beginning to end. It does not lag in any part. It is a keeper, and a good addition to any collection.

The Mad Max series is finally enjoying a long awaited (30 years!) return to form (or is it?). Fury Road brings our titular hero back into the spotlight where he deserves to be. This time around Mel Gibson has been replaced with fan favorite actor Tom Hardy (Inception, Warrior, The Dark Knight Rises). Not only was Hardy a perfect cast from the aesthetic standpoint (looks very much like a younger Mel Gibson in the movie) but the way he plays the character makes it feel like he's been doing it forever.
The supporting cast was anything but lost in this one. In fact many people will say they stole the show (mostly because of Hardy's more limited role). Theron turns in an excellent performance as the Imperator Furiosa and raises the bar of the female hero almost to the levels of Sigourney Weaver's Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies. Nicholas Hoult (Google him) plays someone that hardly resembles him or anything else he's done and does a great job making you feel conflicted about his character Nux.
Chaotic and brutal, those are the two most defining words to describe this movie. The action in this film is so intense and so constant the minutes in between scenes where it slows down (albeit with an uneasy tension) are just enough for you to catch your breath. Don't be fooled by the extravagantly improbable scenes. Most of which you see in this film was ACTUALLY done (not CGI). Many, if not all of the race scenes are all done with professional drivers and stunt people, making the movie just that much more incredible
George Miller (who also directed the first 3 movies) returns to re-create his dry and desolate world and fill it with vile villains and heroic heroes.
This is Mad Max for the new era.

Melissa McCarthy never truly disappoints and I laughed a lot during this movie. Some scene were a bit much when it involved kids but it wasn't to the point that it was vulgar. The scene where the little brownie troops were fighting was absolutely hilarious. Melissa can be serious and she can be funny. Her character evolved and realized that there was more to life than money. The money was taking place of how she was always brought back to the orphanage when families would attempt to adopt her. Kathy Bates plays as her mentor that teaches her to be ruthless and make money. Kirsten Bell is her assistant while she was a millionaire making millions! Then she ends up in prison and once she gets out Melissa's character moves in with Kirsten. It is a storyline older than the times but never gets old when it ends well.
