It’s working…Maybe
When I unwrapped this gift I was thrilled. Laser hair removal was something I used to do when I was younger, before kids and work ate up all my time. So the idea of being able to knock it out at home had me super appreciative of this thoughtful gift.
Reading through the booklet there were tons of warnings about burning, scarring, etc that it did have me a little freaked out. Especially as a skin cancer survivor, anything that could be dangerous gives me some hesitation. After doing a ton of research I decided to give it a go.
The first time was a bit terrifying, since it warned that it may be a little painful. Since I have absolutely no tolerance for pain or discomfort, it took some courage to work up that first trigger pull. To my surprise, I felt absolutely nothing! It really is easy to accomplish, but it does take a lot of time to work large areas. Plus, some areas have a difficult time getting the sensor to make full contact. Under-arms and knees always prove a pain.
I’ve been using it since Christmas, gradually increasing the frequency as suggested in the manual. After 3 months I definitely notice the hair comes back in more slowly and isn’t as course as it was before. It says it could take a long time to completely remove the hair, so I’m assuming I haven’t achieved that yet. Since it takes a long time to do, it isn’t as convenient as I first thought. In some says, going to a pro and having them zip through it very quickly makes it much more efficient than consuming a chunk of time on my weekends.
All in all, it seems that it is working. Considering the huge price savings over professional laser removal, it is worth trying out. So I’ll stick with it for while more and hopefully it will eventually get rid of all the hair.

Great Sound, Sharp Look, Comfortable

When you first hear "wired" headphone you think..."oh this is going to plug into my controller". Unfortunately, my only real con on this is around the giant tether. The usb cord has to plug into the console rather than the port on the controller. And this is so they can put all the electronics for surround and audio effects in there. While this is a neat feature to have...the puck is unwieldy and the tether is rather annoying considering we live in a day and age of wireless everything.
All that being said, the headphones are really comfortable and carry a great sound! It would have been nice to get a different set of ear cups with it for those that prefer the fabric option. But I personally don't mind the leather inserts.
The sound is quite good. The highs are clean and the lows are just bassy enough not to cause too much terrible distortion. Others say the mic quality is good and they can hear me just fine. One nice addition though would be a gain toggle for the mic on that puck...if we're stuck with the puck, may as well make it more useful.
The build quality is really high! I question the reason behind the little plastic side pieces...they come off really easy. I'm to assume that there's going to be some sort of aftermarket clip on flair that replaces these pieces. Otherwise the fit is nice, and they feel very sturdy and capable of handling abuse. And they look pretty cool with that stormtrooper armor white color.
I'd recommend them if you don't mind the tether and can get them on sale.

Great intro Lav mic for up and coming vloggers

This wireless LAV mic is very portable, comes with a case, and has reasonable battery life. Noted cut outs and connectivity issues with dense urban locations...other signals in the area cut down on range and responsiveness. Range is less than half advertised in these sort of locations. A great way to get started making more professional looking videos.

Slightly oversized, highly useful

The k600 is a great little keyboard for not only a smart TV, but on the go use as well. I'm using mine with a Sony Bravia 900f and it works great! Makes typing and navigation a breeze... Using the standard remote is a bit of a chore.
All that being said, it's a bit bulky for use in the living room. It takes up a lot of space on a coffee table, and we struggle with finding a place to store it that doesn't get in the way. It's for some heft to it which could be seen as a pro and a con. Pro: it doesn't get kicked around or fall over easy (and it feels solidly made). Con: it's bulky and difficult to grab off the table in a hurry.
In all, if you feel you need a keyboard on your smart TV then it's a pretty good buy. The track pad is onboard and makes navigation a breeze.

Mmmm... Fries on demand!

I've no previous experience with an air fryer, but this thing is pretty sweet. I've already made a couple batches of fries with it. The cookbook that comes with it shows dozens of options that I never would have considered. It heats up quickly and does seem to require a bit of experimentation. I followed the instructions for fries and I've managed to burn them twice. It definitely needs to reduce some time on cooking these, and above all I think it needs you to toss them on occasion to move the fries from on top to the underside. But at the end of the day you can cook fries with little to no oil and get them tasting amazing. It's highly recommend this to get healthier cooking.

Solid old-school keyboard with new appeal

The keyboards with mechanical buttons of yesteryear make a comeback. This keyboard has excellent key response and despite all the negative (sound) reviews I for one appreciate the solid feel of the buttons. It's been a long time since I've had a keyboard that felt this sturdy. I think many fail to understand the idea behind the "mechanical" part of the keyboard....it's going to have some click to it. That's the point. I really appreciate the heft and durability of this keyboard. And the reasonably compact build is quite nice. I would definitely recommend this one to a friend. The LEDs are fun to play with.

Seems to me to be a pretty standard mouse. I can't really see the difference between this and any other mouse at this price point. It's small and lightweight. The receiver tucks away inside which makes for easy travel if you so choose. I still prefer the logitech trackball over a standard mouse for comfort reasons. All in all I wouldn't toss this one out.

Comfortable, Solid Wired Headset under $100

It can be tough to find a good fitting and comfortable headset for under $100. These actually fit into both categories. The sound quality is pretty good and the mic for game chat works quite well.
The set is wired which is kinda a drag, but at the end of the day not having to worry about charging it all the time is good. The tether seems to be made of a solid braided cable that should withstand some abuse.
The ear cups come in two types...a leather style and fabric. Both seem to be fairly comfortable and fit well around the ear helping to cut down on outside noise as well as providing a good sound envelope for the listener.
I would recommend these to anyone looking to land a set of headphones for under a hundred bucks that will work with just about any platform.

Elegant design meets functionality

This laptop is sleek and stylish, which is what initially caught my eye. A dark ash case coupled with a slim profile creates a design that is elegant and easy to handle. Despite it’s thin contour, it is still balanced with enough heft to provide sturdiness whether using it as a laptop or tablet. It never feels bulky, yet the durable hinges imbue a sense of quality that is found throughout the components of this compact machine.
As someone who relies on my devices for multi-tasking, editing, and presenting, there are a few features that stand out to me. First is the incredibly tactile, backlit keyboard. It has everything I need to quickly navigate. It is coupled with the extra wide keypad, so I still haven’t needed to connect a mouse yet, which is typically my first step when using a laptop. Finally, the 16:9 screen with this high resolution gives me plenty of space to open multiple tabs and do side by side editing. The gorgeous black bezel gives the illusion of a bigger screen and creates a polished look if I open this up with clients.
Wish the device activated automatically when I opened the screen, but pressing a quick button and then having the camera recognize and log me in is a time saver that is much appreciated. The built-in speakers don’t blow me away, but are more than sufficient for playing internet videos and listening to music as I create presentations and marketing materials. The processing speed is also zippy and keeps up with my photo and video editing needs, both through installed software and cloud based applications. Unlike my previous device, this one will run all day on a single battery charge, leaving me untethered and free to work wherever is convenient.
Overall, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality and efficiency of this solid laptop. I’m not an expert on the most up-to-date specs and internal components, but my husband is meticulous at researching all that. So far this gift from him has been more than sufficient for every task I’ve thrown at it.

How loud is it? Can I take this into a professional meeting and not be embarrassed by how loud the fan is?
It's a gaming laptop with crappy battery life...It's also rather large...I wouldn't expect to walk into meetings with it. Get an ultrabook for that purpose.

I'm not a hardcore computer gamer who's obsessed with all the specs and frame rates and stuff, is this computer good enough to run games like WoW and Diablo fine? and average web browsing?
