The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue, the latest animated feature in the popular series for children, concerns the adventures of Toaster and his pals (and fellow household appliances) Lampy, Radio, Blanky, and Kirby the carpet sweeper, who make friends with a group of animals at a veterinary clinic. When Toaster discovers that the animals are scheduled to be sent to a scientific laboratory where they'll be used for testing, he and his friends join forces to help the critters escape to freedom.
I bought this movie because when I was younger I watched it all the time on VHS but then we lost it so it's been a long time since I've seen it. Then I saw it on TV and was happy when I found it on DVD.
John Wick Chapter 2 delivers much the same feel, tempo and action sequences as the first. It also has much the same idea- John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a lethal assassin who is trying to stay retired only to be pulled back in the game. There is lots of blood with lots of violence but if you liked the first John Wick you should enjoy this return to that world. And the fact that the movie is called Chapter 2 suggests a third chapter won't be far behind.
I am giving this a 3 although the movie was well made and the acting was fine. This one didn't maintain the same continuity that other 5 had. It was too dark as in lighting although I suspect that was on purpose yet it seemed like a different franchise. It was cool in many respects because it finally had an explanation for the seemingly insane motivations of the Umbrella Corporation.
This is a great story for the original first lady in comics...Wonder Woman! The villain is the perfect fit and even the ending makes me want to look and see if there is another movie that goes on after this one. This animated movie is a great way to warm up for the real version coming out this year (2017).
Highly recommended to anyone who is a collector, or a Disney fan. Children will enjoy it, even if it's not historically accurate. It can be "historically" a part of any memory of what the Disney Renaissance was like.
If you are a Flintstones fan then you will enjoy this movie. The only drawback is strange scene sequence involving Pebbles and Bam Bam. I wish that they would do an edited version and take this sequence out because it detracts from the picture.
Fifty Shades Darker is entertaining, exciting, and it was worth the 2-year wait! The video left me feeling very satisfied and I can't wait to get it on Blu-Ray but I'm for sure going to watch it at the theaters.
If you have never seen The Sword in the Stone, you are missing out on a true classic. Very minimal violence/scary stuff and a great message overall. Funny and cute as well.
BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 3 is full of charm and some humor for kids of all ages. Papi and Chloe are back with the kids and their "humans" have gotten a job in a very posh Beverly Hills hotel that caters to both humans and dogs.
This is an amazing movie. The story and the action is very powerful. What they go through, just amazing (if you put this to real life, they would be heroes). I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Just watch it.
