Ok so let me begin by saying like a lot of fathers, I am not a huge fan of Disney (and that's especially true because of a certain movie that just won't go away). This was not that type of movie. There was NO singing whatsoever and the storyline was great. It wasn't too long (but also not too short that you couldn't identify with each of the main characters). The big thing is that it kept and keeps both of my daughters entertained and happy and that is the most important criteria for any movie. Also, there's a stargate in it, so that's pretty cool.

Listen I am sick of teeny bopper dystopian movies. But this movie was good as far as the spectrum goes. It is sort of a calmed down version of a movie called Cube (and its sequels) that came out in the 90s. Really there was a lot of action, but the problem is there wasn't much logic or thought that the characters had to out forth. They just made conclusions from fragmented bits of information and ran around a lot. So I gave it 3 stars though I would have given it 3.5 if I could.

A brilliant movie to describe a brilliant man with a tortured past. If you are looking for an in-depth science documentary, watch PBS' Hawking (which is also excellent). This story is about the tumultuous life of Hawking and his first wife with intelligence and numerous sparks of brilliance everywhere. I'm not a love story type of person at all, but this movie was pretty amazing.

It's worth buying if you would like to add this to your overall blu ray collection but if you're looking for blu ray quality, you may want to wait to see if the studio oes back through frame-by-frame and properly digitally remasters the movie. Then it would be worth your collection.
