If this is Daniel Craig's last turn as the legendary spy it is a good one. From the frenetic opening sequence to the last shot of him and the girl driving away in his classic Aston Martin it is a Bond adventure for the ages. More backstory, excellent villains and the tremendous action set pieces are all wonderfully done. Hopefully note his last but if it is he left it in excellent form and high style.

Each season concentrates on a single terror threat, with multiple storylines converging to an exceptional climax. Well written long form action. High production values and a sensational casting. I will admit to being a fan of the original three movies, yes I saw Jurassic III in the theatre and own it. The film is an excellent addition, same themes of corporate greed and so on, but well done on all levels. The special effects, the locations and the cast are all excellent. As is the score and technical aspects. Special features are good and like any fan you watch once without and then with commentary to get the full affect.

An Excellent Chapter In The Series

I found the Furious 7 to be an excellent addition to the series. While the plots tend to stretch your suspension of disbelief, it's the action and characters that you come back for. Kurt Russell was a nice addition to the cast. It also proved to be a fitting capstone to Paul Walker's career. I know they plan to continue the saga and I hope that they do, because as escapist entertainment they are a lot of fun. Remember this is a movie, not a film, but it is still art in it's own right.

A new take on the western

this is a revisionist western from the Sergio Leone school more than the John Ford western. Because of the callous acts of a couple of strangers during a stage coach ride, our reluctant hero sets out to avenge the death of his wife and son. Unknowningly unleashing a tide of violence. With little more the hope, grit and a henry rifle our hero overcomes incredible odds to obtain his revenge.
