Kate is Selene!!!!!

I love the "Underworld" series of films and particularly love Kate Bekinsale in the role of Selene. The 4K adds to the sharpness of the picture; however, I also have the 3D version of this film and am particularly impressed with how the 3D adds to this film and others. I find that the 3D is better than the 4K because with the LG 3D 4K UHD television that I have everything gets bumped up picture-wise and you get the addition of the 3D effects and depth.
"Blood Wars" moves the "Underworld" story along nicely and lets us all enjoy Kate's Selene in her super tight-fitting black outfit!!!! (Sorry, if that is not politically correct; however, reality is sometimes that way!) I highly recommend this latest edition of the "Underworld" saga and look forward to more of these films- especially with Kate Beckinsale in them!

I really enjoy Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Logan/a.k.a. Wolverine.
It is also great to see another fine Marvel 3D film to add to my collection.
Hugh has this role down pat, and in this film we learn a lot more about Wolverine. There is lots of action in this film that takes Wolverine to different locales. I highly recommend this film to Wolverine and Hugh Jackman fans!

I have seen and enjoyed this film in 2D and now have purchased and viewed it in 3D. I am really a fan of Blu-ray 3D films and am pleased to add "Jupiter Ascending" to my collection.
The action is continuous in the film and the CGI effects (especially in 3D) are very good. The story held my attention, the acting was good, and the 3D added good depth enhancement to the film.
I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a space film with plenty of action, a good storyline, and excellent 3D effects.

The film has an excellent storyline that sets you up nicely for The War for the Planet of the Apes. The 3D adds a nice dimensional feel to the film and enhances the apes' appearances. I love The "Wild Wild West" series and have the full set of weekly TV shows. Now, I have two of the full-length films that were made. It was good to see Jim and Artemis again. These two films were made after the series went off the air, and I saw them years ago. I am glad to have them in my collection. They bring back fond memories of two very good actors who had a great on-screen chemistry in their roles as James West and Artemis Gordon. I recommend both films to all fans of "The Wild Wild West".

I have this unit paired with a 55" LG 3D/4K LED TV. The Sony Blu-ray player does an excellent job with my 3D, 4K, Blu-ray, and regular DVD disks. Transmissions are super clear and very sharp. I am very pleased with the player and highly recommend it (AAA+++). (Remember to set it up with a quality 4K HDMI cable to your 4K TV.)

Fine film addition to the Marvel universe.

Doctor Strange is played very well by Benedict Cumberbatch. He takes a journey from being a really unlikeable character to a changed and more likeable person by the end of the film. He learns that he is not the center of the universe and that he can be caring for the needs of others.
Tilda Swinton does a fine job as a teacher and leader in a strange universe of different dimensions and realms. There is magic and, of course, bad or evil persons and beings. Major and minor roles in the film are handled well by the actors.
The action moves right along and the special effects are unusual and effective. The 3D adds to the film; however, I also saw it in 2D. Either way would be fine for this film.
All in all, I found the film enjoyable and entertaining. I look forward to seeing the further adventures of Doctor Strange.

Raunchy Action Packed Film!

I would have given this film a very good but there is no such choice here. The 3D was excellent! (Note: The film was actually filmed in 3D. It is not redone from 2D.) This is a film that caters to certain likes, e.g., Nicholas Cage, lots of tough (often gruesome and bloody) action throughout, nudity, and rough language. So, if these things bother you, this is not a movie that you would like to watch. If, on the other hand, you are okay with these things then this can be an enjoyable film for you. The action is pretty much non-stop and there is the pretty Amber Heard and Charlotte Ross. You might remember her from NYPD Blue. Cage is Cage and is on a personal quest from the Underworld for his daughter. Cage also has some cool cars that he handles well (or his doubles do). All in all, I found the film to be entertaining.
