I decided to give this a shot on Black Friday without high hopes. I have used iPads for years but I was curious about trying a Windows 8 tablet. The price was right and the specs looked right - 32gb, 10" screen, 2gb RAM, GPS, micro SD card expansion, and Office 365. Particularly when considering other 8 tablets are lacking in one or more of the mentioned specs. I have to say I'm quite pleased. Nice performance overall with snappy response. Windows 8 is not bad at all on a tablet. I find it certainly superior to Android and being able to install actual programs as well as apps is a huge plus. Microsoft was wise to basically give away the OS to lower the price on these devices. There is just so much more you can do on this device than either IOS or Android. Still love my iPad but I now use both devices. Got an OTG adapter and even connect my iPad to this tablet for iTunes. Pretty sweet. The build quality is quite good. It doesn't feel cheap at all. It's not all perfection. The cameras are awful. I don't see the point. The display is acceptable but certainly not an HD display. There is a good deal of back light bleed too. I'm also not a fan of the big removable plastic door which holds the micro SD card. Even with the negatives I would recommend to anyone who needs a tablet at a reasonable price.

Nice addition of this prime lens for my D5100. Bokeh is comparable to the 50mm prime. A great lens at a bargain price.
