Bubbles are hard to get out no matter what kind of screen protector you get. Go slow and retry as much as you want. Make sure your screen is clean before you start so you don't end up with dust specs in the screen protector. Bestbuy is charging half the cost of the same product at other retailers for some reason!

Can you pair a universal remote with this TV? I want to be able to punch in a channel number rather than just scroll through sequentially.
Yes. We use the Directv rc65 on this TV. It's a standard IR remote unlike the roku boxes that use wifi remotes. The remote is line of sight.
