SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR ROBOTS!! For those contemplating the buy on another battery. Here is the proper care and feeding of your robot battery and it will last you OVER ONE YEAR. Keep the battery on the charger unless you don't plan on using your robot for an extended period of time. YOU SHOULD use your robot every day!! How much effort is it to empty the bins??? PLEASE if you have a problem here then you are LAZY. I have BEEN A PROUD ROBOT owner for the last four years!! I have FOUR ROBOTS and ALL MY BATTERIES LAST OVER A YEAR!! I use my robots daily except SUNDAY as it is a day of rest even for the bots!! THEY ARE ALWAYS ON THE CHARGER. Simple enough...iRobot can't be this blunt but I can. JUST DO IT!! Don't put the blame on iRobot...I could not imagine ever having to do the cleaning like I used to ever again...or make my wife do it. I can boast that I clean the house EVERY MORNING for my wife. I have two schedulers that really make my life easy and the other two robots I start manually...gee how hard is that?? Then its off to the back yard with my coffee and play with the dogs. BUY THE BATTERY if you need a new one and follow my directions. It will last you over a year. You pay for what you get. THIS IS THE BEST BATTERY and you pay for it...but the return is a very clean house with very little effort on your part. JUST DO IT!!
Pros: Last 14 Months

I beleive that this is a really good battery, however with limited knowledge of the product, and inadequate maintenance the charging mechanism within the battery may become damaged and it would need to be replaced.
Pros: A good run time, Charges Fast
Cons: Easily damaged, Exspensive, Hard to maintain

Worthless junk

How are corporations even allowed to release products which should still be in the drawing board? I assume iRobot spent all of their time designing the cleaning logic, how to avoid obstacles, and the like. But all that is useless if the supposedly rechargeable batteries die continuously, and each cost almost as much as a cheap conventional vacuum cleaner. Forget the complicated stuff, just make a DECENT power supply first, then sell your machines.
Cons: Weak Function
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
