Short Life on the batteries

I am very disappointed with this product for the same reasons everyone else is. The batteries do not last as stated and they are so expensive. I notice the stores are not carrying too many of these vacuums if at all. Product Managers where are you at least reply to these complaints.
Pros: Batteries are terrible, Good idea for a vacuum, So expensive, Ther mfg does not follow, Up on their product

It cleans well but as everyone agree the battery life span is sucks and very expensive to replace it. For [$] you can buy a decent vaccume cleaner!

Bad quality and too expensive

At the first roomba discovery the Baterry quite good quality can long last 2 yrs after that i changed it within 6 months. It's very short life. I bought it 3-4 time continued but the quality it the same. Bad and Short life not value for money to pay for it. Don't buy anymore.

THE BATTERY IS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT...RUINS THE ROOMBA & SCOOBA & DIRTDOG PRODUCTS (I'VE OWNED ALL THREE)....AND AT EXORBITANT COST...WHEN NEW & ON FIRST WEEKS WHEN BATTERY WORKED, I RECOMMENDED THE ROOMBA TO A FRIEND...HE BOUGHT IT FOR HIS WIFE'S ANNIVERSARY SURPRISE...I'M SO SORRY! I KNOW IT'S BEEN A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT TO THEM.

Love the idea, great time saver, love the look of a fresh vacuumed home, but not at a new battery a year and not at the current price.

Battery needs updating

I bought one also one for my Mother. Her battery died then mine died and the cost to replace both batteries is prohibitive, You must do something about the cost and life of your batteries. I find that for the cost of two batteries I can buy two cheap vacuumes that do a comparative job. I do miss my Roomba and wish you would update the batteries and fix the problem with battery life.
Pros: Bad battery too costly, Easy To Clean, Ergonomic, Good Power Output, Lightweight
Cons: Bad battery, Weak Function

Save your money these are junk

I will be throwing my 2 discovery models away! I received them as gifts a couple of years ago! We have been through 3 batteries each! They were fun but the expense is getting ridiculous! I won't buy anything else from his company.
