Good product with poor battery

Not Happy!

First few uses were great. Battery lasted only a few months. Have replaced it twice - same problem -will not replace again. Not worth the expense. Very disappointing. How many of these reviews does the company have to receive before the problem is addressed?
Pros: Fast Charge
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Short Life

The roomba itself is a great product, it's the battery that sucks. I would think a company like irobot would listen to its guests concerns regarding the battery life, and the price for the replacement. Not worth the money. Only lasts a very short time. It really is a shame.

I love my roomba, it gets under beds, under sofas, tidy's the house while I'm busy. BUT I've been through 2 batteries in 2 years and they are TOO EXPENSIVE to make this unit viable. I'm going back to the old fashion way of cleaning...for free....until the battery is more affordable and/or lasts longer.

I agree with majority of reviewers, battery life is the pits and to the woman that gave a 5 star rating that pays [$]every 14 mos.is a sucker. With the amount of unhappy consumers regarding battery life, you would think the corporation would address the problem of battery life and replacement cost. Mine will join the other lady's recycle bin...Disillusioned Roomba xxxxowner!

Battery does not last. [...]We bought a new battery and took their advice, as we leave for a few weeks at a time. We did that and the battery still did not last. You would think , with all the bad remarks about the battery, they would come up with a solution or charge less. Too bad, as i really like using it.

Battery doesn't hold charge

We have replaced this battery 3 times now in 4 years. This is the last time. I can not justify the cost of [$] every year just to keep this running. The concept is awesome but the battery sucks.
