Looks great, holds EVERYTHING!!!

We replaced our older model Sidekick freezer and 'fridge recently and the new ones look fantastic. Very high-end. They hold much more than those pricey units like sub-zero and perform very well so far. We did buy the optional ice maker, but wished it was included. Who doesn't want an ice maker as a standard feature? Other than that, we are thrilled with our new Sidekicks.Vivian L.Santa Fe, NM

Improved new features

This is the second set of sidekicks I have owned. I replaced them because the refrigerator quit working after 5 1/2 years. The air flow in the freezer is improved. My previous unit ran the air flow right top of the ice bin container which made of large clumps of ice that were a mess. Love the new air flow

lots of room but had repaired already

Bought this 15 months ago and had to have timer replaced already since it was not defrosting. Of course it off warranty. Ice maker also freezes up from time to time and need to be manually cracked to release ice
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

See review for fridge. The freezer was bought to match the new fridge even though the existing freezer was still operational. Suggestions for improvements and other criticisms are the same. I like the sidekicks design.

A little noisy at times.........other reviews do warn about it, but if you are putting it in a back room, it doesn't matter. It would be nice to have more in-door shelving.........depending on the size of items being stored, you can end up with a lot of usable space wasted because of the opportunity to use more shelves to store things.
