Beware before you buy

This new model has problems with the ice thru the door. Service was called within one week of owning. Fixed now and running well. A little noisy when running especially when it needs water for the ice maker.

Looks Good, But...

Bought this unit new at Lowes, called them the next day to swap out...freezer part would not get cold (ice cream melted) and it was making a noise. Lowes was great, replaced with a new one in 2 days. New one seems to be working Okay so far...

We had a few hiccups, and had to have someone out to fix some hiccups in the unit, but the process was smooth, and the fridge appears to be running perfectly now

Very Loud! But Nice looking

We bought the Frigidaire professional series kitchen set (dishwasher, microwave, refridge, and stove). Everything looks very nice and I am happy with all the appliances except the refridge. It is very loud. Continues to make these loud noises and we have had for less than a year. I have a video of it but I could not get it to attach.The dishwasher is actually quitter then my refrigerator.

I purchased this about 18 months ago and this is the second straight winter where my ice maker freezes. Between November-March this thing refuses to make ice. The crisper sticks and freezes what ever is put into it. The handle to the freezer continues to fall off. It's been attached and re-attached so many times it's now stripped and won't go back on. Hey mike_610, I am sorry to hear about your refrigerator experience. The ice maker will stop making ice if the water filter needs to be changed, or if the water pressure drops below the required 30-100 PSI. Please check the humidity controls for your crispers, try adjusting the controls to a higher humidity. If the controls are fully opened (lower humidity) it might lead to freezing temperatures in the crisper drawers. Page 14 in your Owner’s Manual shows handle attaching instructions. STAY AWAY!! Very poor product

We have had this refrigerator for 5 years. After the first six months, we had to replace the ice maker. Three months after that, same thing, six months after that, same thing, and every six months after. The fan in the ice maker freezes up, then the ice melts and drips out the ice and water dispenser, leaking all over the floor. I haven't used the ice maker in 2 years. We bought this in a package with the oven, dishwasher and microwave. A person would think the Gallery edition would be great, but just the opposite. I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I have owned this model for 4 years and have replaced the ice maker and related parts 4 times! The style and features of the unit are very good but I could have purchased another unit for what I paid in repairs.
