Great fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on clearance without really needing a new refrigerator (it was a deal I couldn’t pass up) and have been happy with it so far. Only complaint is that at times it can make odd noises that my 23 year old Kenmore did not.

Nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent features for a basic side by side refrigerator/freezer. A little small if you have a large family, but it fits nicely into a smaller area where you don't have room for a huge refrigerator and serves very well as a second unit. It's main selling point for me was that it was one of the few brands of that size that had an on-door ice & water dispenser. The only problem I had with it was when it stopped dispensing water after a month. The problem turned out to be my error. I had the refrigerator temperature turned down a little too low and the water filter froze. Once it thawed out, everything worked fine. A note addressing that potential should be added to the problem solving page of your operating instruction.

Good for Space

I needed a 33 inch wide fridge and I wanted a side by side and this foot the bill. It is a bit noisy at night, but I am getting used to the noise. Overall good fridge for the price.

We love the refrigerator. Two questions: in our model is there a way to lower the temp in the hydrator (other than lowering the temp in the entire unit)? Also, can we purchase another shelf with supports?

Ice Maker totally unacceptable.

I bought this refrigerator as a replacement for another refrigerator that I just purchased that dispensed metal and plastic parts rather than Ice. Now this refrigerator's icemaker requires us to empty and re-align or it will not dispense ice at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
