Purchased this item in early 2017, and thus far has worked as expected. I have had to replace the water inlet valve this year (2020), but it was an easy DIY job, just a "pluck and chuck" and back working again. Not sure what all the fuss is about, haven’t had any issues with the ice maker or the door handles or the doors. It came from one of the big box retailers to my door; I opted not to have it installed. I did it myself, hint all you have to do is read the paper work and all is well. So, my overall review is "good +". I do have to admit, it does make some noise, but all appliances these days make noise.

Not the worst

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not mad at all. It has worked great for last 5 yrs. Only thing that has gone out is ice maker.i was told most ice makers go out in 2nd year of use. I got 2 extra years. A little noisy but not bad.

Frigedaire side by side

I bought this in July of this year. I had never considered buying a side by side mainly because of the price. My daughter wanted it and it was a very good price. I'm glad I listened to her because I love it! It has loads of room in it. It's so much nicer to get your ice and water from it. I'm very happy with it.

New Refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator just before Thanksgiving weekend. It is spacious and well proportioned for our family of eight. It runs quietly and not so often, either. The freezer makes ice quickly. The exterior blends in well with our existing kitchen. The only thing I can think of as a con is that we could never adjust the refrigerator door enough to match up with the freezer door, it is about 1/8 inch lower. Other than that, this has been an outstanding appliance.

Solid Side-By-Side

I recently purchased a Frigidaire FFHS2611LW side-by-side to replace a failed 5-year-old Samsung Twin Cooling side-by-side that no one seemed able to fix.
I decided to do some research and came up with this Frigidaire unit as a good, solid, side-by-side refrigirator with all of the features I wanted for much less than the Samsung cost me 5 years ago.
I put a little extra into an extended warranty and still paid less than the Samsung.
It has been performing perfectly, and I have the peace of mind that comes with knowing I have a Frigidaire made by people who have proven over many years that they know how to make a reliable refrigerator (unlike Samsung).
I decided to do some research and came up with this Frigidaire unit as a good, solid, side-by-side refrigirator with all of the features I wanted for much less than the Samsung cost me 5 years ago.
I put a little extra into an extended warranty and still paid less than the Samsung.
It has been performing perfectly, and I have the peace of mind that comes with knowing I have a Frigidaire made by people who have proven over many years that they know how to make a reliable refrigerator (unlike Samsung).

I have only had my new Frigidaire refrigerator for 4 months, and so far i love it. It's bigger and more energy efficient than my last one. I would recommend it to anyone.

the last side by side we had it had 2 crisper draws and a lunch meat and cheese draw that is the only thing that this one should have,I hope it lasts longer than our last frigidaire did which was only 10 years. My frigdaire that I got at a yard sale to use as a spare still works "great" and it's over 28 years old
